Had the displeasure of encountering probably the nastiest customer service worker I’ve ever met. Terrible attitudes at the pickup counter, mixed with argumentative demeanors. Luckily I found an advisor and manager to rectify the situation appropriately. Major props to them for picking up the slack of team members who don’t wanna work.

Horrible customer service, My sons iPhone 17 ProMax is only 32 days old, and the logic board died. After having to argue about the getting the phone "repaired" and not replaced. I had to make the 1.5 hour drive twice. I have to take the phone back because of screen damage and I can't talk to anyone at the store to find out how long it takes to repair the screen. There is ZERO compassion and care from the customer service at the apple store or corporate office.

Apple products are wonderful and worth the premium price. This particular store, however, has a steady decline in customer service. I've bought tens of thousands of dollars of equipment from this store over the years. They used to carry heavy orders (monitors etc) to your car for you. No more. Often salespeople are flippant, even arrogant. Management called once after I left a poor review and interrupted me on the phone saying, "You've had your time to talk..." I was so disappointed. As these technologies become less of a special thing and more of a commodity, Apple will have to either get back to the personal customer service they were known for, or lose the tech battle to a newcomer who invests in better training, better personnel and better treatment. It's a roll of the dice, now, on what kind of experience one has walking into this location.

Extremely helpful, wonderful employees who took time to help me figure out all my issues (with my apple products anyways!)

Apple really, REALLY does not want to actually TALK to its customers. When you call the store #, you get an AI voice. I needed a new battery for my husband's phone and wanted to see if the Buford location had them in stock. Not only would the AI guy not connect me, he wanted to shunt me over to ANOTHER AI voice to "take my information for the Technical Support area." WE DIDN'T NEED Technical support--we already knew a battery replacement was needed, and just wanted to know if they had batteries for an iPhone 12 in stock and how much it would cost, before we drove all the way up there. So I called back and to get past the AI "gate-keeper" I lied and said I wanted to BUY a phone. THAT got me to a live human. She was very nice, but said she "could not" tell me if they even HAD an iPhone 12 battery in stock, nor what it would cost to replace it, UNTIL we had gone through their center to "set up an appointment" to have the phone looked at. We had already checked settings, which told us the phone had a "degraded battery"--we did not NEED to pay Tech Support to tell us what we already knew. PLUS, I asked her--"So we could set up an appointment, come in, have your Tech Support tell us we need a new battery--and only THEN perhaps find out that you might not even have one in stock and we'd have to make a SECOND trip up there to get it installed? And we wouldn't even be told how much it would COST to have it installed UNTIL your Tech Support looked at it?" (which probably would entail ANOTHER cost). She affirmed that was the case. APPLE seems to not care at all about Customer SERVICE anymore. As I said, the lady who waited on me was very nice and very apologetic, but the difficulty I had reaching a live person showed me APPLE would rather SELL to you than TALK to you, and then this bait-and-switch about refusing to simply TELL a customer if you do or do not have a product in stock and how much it is, without going thru an unnecessary examination by Tech Support, confirms that opinion. BAD FORM, APPLE! ETA--There is a store called "Cell Phone Repair CPR" right across the street from Gwinnett Place Mall. THEIR service and prices are GREAT (no I do not work for them but all 3 of my sons bought their first used cell phones from them several years ago. Furthermore, they DID tell me they have the battery for my husband's phone, IN STOCK, and how much it would be). Forget this worthless Apple store and go to a place that will truly serve patrons' needs.
