  I am filing an urgent complaint regarding a defective LG OLED TV purchased from Best Buy with an extended warranty. Shortly after purchase, the TV became unusable—it would not power off, displayed persistent “home/app shadow” burn-in behind all content, and had constant background interference. Despite the warranty, Best Buy redirected us to LG since it was within the first year. We literally got to wait for the Best Buy warranty to kick in before we can use a $3500 TV. We called LG, Our initial LG rep (AJ) had us run color tests and submit photos, then told us to wait 5 business days. We escalated to a manager, Anne, who was rude and dismissive. She instructed us to unmount the TV, perform a factory reset, and run pixel cleaning for over an hour. None of these steps resolved the issue. Despite following all instructions, we were told to call back with no resolution, and LG has refused to replace or properly repair the TV. This product is defective and unusable. Neither Best Buy or LG will take accountability and fix it

  Finally received help after waiting for quite some time. Kathy was excellent. We just had to wait a very long time for assistance.

  Great service when you check out but you have to hunt down employees on the sales floor unless you're looking for a cell phone.

  In response to the comment made about my review and for clarity, I did not feel overlooked because the person who worked applainces was sitting in the small applaiance area , watching us look at washing machines the whole time. She never bothered to ask if we needed assistance. I just had the most awful experience at best buy. We walked in and was greeted at the door. We went to the back for appliances . We walked around those appliances a long time with Ms Kim sitting in appliances and never moving to ask if we needed help. We walked back to the front to seek help and the young lady up front was also rude ..We wanted to purchase a washer , so we went back when they contacted Ms Kim.. She finally left her seat and her behavior was as if she would rather we not have disturbed her.. My daughter and I went on to Lowe's and purchased a washer there. ✌🏽

  Coming to Best Buy during a busy season, I expected some delays in service. However, I spent 20 minutes walking around with the lady sitting at the computer. She looked up at us and then looked away, never coming to assist. Her name was Kim, and she appeared to be an older lady. I went to the front and spoke to Alyssa. I asked her if a manager was available because I had just been in the appliances section and had received no help. She replied, “So, what do you want me to see who can help you?” She stared at me. My mom looked at her (rudely, but she was upset), and she asked, “Oh, had we been there a while?” I’m not sure if her mind was in check or if she was okay. I try to look at people to gauge their personalities because I know how I am, and I may come across as rude, but I don’t mean to be. However, I’ve been in customer service for most of my life, and I try to treat others the way I want to be treated when I walk into a place. Best buy: teach your people how to go the extra mile to provide great customer service.
