I am scheduled for a home installation today between 10 and 2. It is now 2:44 and I have been trying to get to a live person at the store/ and at Geek Squad for the past 30 minutes. I've been watching the location of the truck since 12:30. It has been at the store for the past 45 minutes. No one has contacted me to update the status. I can't reach a live person. I don't know if they are done for the day or not. The truck is not moving. No respect for customer calendar. If I leave, they will cancel me when they show up! Highly frustrating. They required me to be at home for four hours and show no respect for MY time!!!!

Absolutely AWFUL!!! Please do not come here unless you want to waste your precious, God-given time. They do not honor appointments, they overbook the schedule, terrible customer service, terrible communication, no professionalism at the Geek Squad counter or in the store. The entire store is filled with people who half care about everything they’re doing. Seriously, they need to close this. People spend way too much money on electronics and equipment to have their time and energy played with because you lack whatever skill set is needed to manage clientele or execute the job. ZERO STARS. NEGATIVE 1000 STARS! STAY AWAY!

I had a truly TERRIBLE experience with Geek Squad at piedmont over this past week. Not only did they LOSE my computer but the manager today had the audacity to have attitude with me for saying it was at the fault of their best buy team. I had my laptop sent in for a hardware repair, something simple. I received a message on 3/12 my laptop had a arrived, I then went on 3/14 to pick up my laptop with an appointment. No only did the person helping tell me they couldn't find it but the managers those days also said my laptop was LOST. They said the person Tuesday had checked my laptop in but they couldn't find it or contact that manager. The team said they would call me with updates, then NEVER did. I then received another message that I have gotten my laptop 3/16, went 3/18. They still didn't have my laptop. Then the manager at best buy piedmont on 3/18 was being rude, dismissing my concerns and saying I can either take the 1 thing he was offering me or I have to wait for it to go up the cooperate ladder. I am in grad school, my laptop is part of me, for exams, for jobs, for my research. This mam was BLAMING ME for the BEST BUY team loosing MY laptop and making it harder then necessary to receive help. Go somewhere else, it's not worth the tech support cost to go to the geek squad.
