- TMtamara mooreDec 22, 20252.0I recently visited the Apple Store at the Cumberland Mall, and I was appalled by the reception or a lack of that I got at the store. The little black girl, and I’m black by the way, who is very dismissive of me and it’s not like I went in the store, looking like a bag of mine I was dressed up in my office attire as a professional black woman. I went in there because I lost my Apple Watch and I wanted to do a replacement so she was very dismissive, instead of trying to help me, she basically chased me at the store as if I’m wasting her time. She was talking down to me without nasty attitude and with a smile on our face. Four hours even finish talking to her she started addressing the white people who came in behind me asking if they needed help. They said no they were just browsing and she stated “well if you need any help, please Let me know. “ So of course, I felt some type of way. I left the store and tried to report my concern by calling the store and I was put on hold for 15 minutes and nobody came and picked up the phone. I called back and someone else picked up and she told me I need to fill out a survey and reported that way. Well, I decided to just put it out here on Google. I literally have Apple everything so I don’t expect to be treated that way I spend thousands of dollars on Apple products

I had to wait an hour with my 2 small children just to be told that they couldn’t fix my problem. My appointment was at 5:30pm because that’s the earliest they offered on the website I got there probably 30 minutes earlier and was told to come back at the time of my appointment. I then came back at the exact time and had to wait 5 minutes just for someone to greet me at the door then was seated and told it would be another 5 minute wait but it turned out to be an hour of my time wasted. My phone screen was broken but there were no physical damage to the phone I was told to just go to my phone plan provider instead. Very unhappy with the service I was provided. I don’t know if it was just this location but a lot of employees were walking around not helping people and it made a very unpleasant impression
