    Horrible experience with both in store purchase and installation. Associates in store were very pushy with trying to upsell more expensive products. During home installation, I was given a time window but Geek Squad tech called over an hour early and said he was 4 minutes away. I left work and met the driver leaving my neighborhood as I was pulling in. He cancelled my installation, saying I was not at home to meet him, after I left work and raced home. I called him and texted him but he did not respond. Horrible service all the way around. Edit: I did respond as Best Buy requested, and I am going to post that response here also to provide extra details to my original post: Today was supposed to be my in home installation of my new TV. For this installation, I pre-paid $269.99. I was given a window of 11:30-3:30 for the installation, so I went to work at 8 and planned to come home during the time frame they gave me. At 10:19 am, I received a call from the Geek Squad tech saying he was 4 minutes away from my house. I told him that I was at work and this was not within the time frame I was given. He said he could only wait 15 minutes and if I was not at my house then the installation would need to be rescheduled. I raced out of work and sped home. I passed the Geek Squad van as I was entering my neighborhood and he was leaving. I called and texted him that I was home but he cancelled my appointment. I lost time at work and did not receive the expensive installation I paid for. I immediately requested a refund for the installation and do not intend to shop at Best Buy again in the future. I have already found a private individual to install my TV for a fraction of the cost I was prepared to pay Best Buy.

    We come here all the time for computer parts and accessories. Friendly staff. This trip really bothered me. I get trying to get people to sign up for stuff, but continuing to try and convince me after I said no multiple times is ridiculous. I said NO.

    Great experience because of the person who helped us buy a TV, Jarron Vaughn. He was awesome, explained every feature and helped us compare against other TVs to make sure we got exactly what we wanted without any form of pressure. He also helped us load the TV up and made sure we got a good deal. It's workers like him that make shopping enjoyable, I'd definitely go back there to buy another TV from him in the future because he is the man !

    My mom contacted Geek Squad and we had 2 men arrive that were very professional! Joel Adair & David Zamora were very kind and resolved my mom’s issues she was having. They even located other issues we were unaware of which helped my mom greatly! I highly recommend Geek Squad and appreciate your support and knowledge!! Thank you again!     I have never experienced such poor treatment as I did during this interaction with Best Buy. The Geek Squad store manager, April, was unwilling to help and was rude from the start. As I attempted to explain my issue, she repeatedly interrupted me and dismissively told me what Best Buy “does and does not do,” without first listening or reviewing the details of my situation. I ultimately had to take control of the conversation and insist that she read her own notes to understand the issue properly. This experience was compounded by the behavior of the repair technician, whose conduct was unprofessional and racially offensive, as well as by the manager’s misleading statements and extremely poor customer service. If I could give this experience a zero rating, I would. I attempted multiple times to report this matter by phone. Several calls were disconnected by customer service representatives, including Jumz and Julio, and another representative whose name I was unable to record. When I called again, I was informed that no manager was available to speak with me, which is unacceptable. I explained the entire situation to another associate and expressed my concern that my Total Tech/Best Buy membership is approaching renewal. Given the confusion, mistreatment, and lack of accountability I experienced, I requested either a credit or some form of consideration. I was assured that my concerns would be escalated and that I would receive follow-up. I am still waiting. Overall, this has been a deeply disappointing experience. There appears to be little concern for the conduct of your associates—both in-store and over the phone—yet I continue to receive constant promotional messages. Best Buy presents itself as a premium retailer, but recently even discount stores have demonstrated better basic customer service. Shame on Best Buy for how this situation was handled and for failing a long-time customer. I will be sharing this experience publicly to reflect how poorly this matter was addressed.
