  Called GeekSquad on 6/18/25 and was told by the agent who set up my appointment that they could replace the coolant in my desktop for $59.99. Arrive to BestBuy 6/19/25 with said desktop at appointment time and see my name on the screen, only to have to wait as if I do not have an appointment. No problem, life goes on. Get up to the gentlemen at the front desk and explain I just need the coolant replaced. He states that it is illegal for the coolant to be replaced and we need a whole new coolant system. He states that's 100$ and I say yes. He says if anything else happens we will call you and let you know. Proceed to get a call a few hours later only to be told that the 100$, instead of 59.99$ like originally told, wasn't for the coolant and it was strictly for diagnosing the issue even though I stated multiple times that only the coolant was the issue and it needed replacing the entire system. I can understand testing the machine but we did that in store so the 100$ was for no services completed. The parts they do not carry in store and gave me the option to either buy the part and bring it to them or just pick up the desktop. I will be returning for my desktop and demanding a full refund. I will never trust you guys again. Never thought I'd get scammed like this 🙃 P.S. My fiancé reminded me as I also forgot as I was too irritated and wanted to leave, but I am gonna need compensation for the broken leg on the desktop the gentlemen snapped off when he dropped it on the counter 🫠 (everyone kinda held their breath at that moment thinking I was gonna get mad which I didn't because he stated he would fix that as well)
