I went to the store in person to handle a warranty issue with my headphones. I was asked if I had an appointment, and when I said no, I was told they couldn’t assist me. The waiting time was supposedly over an hour, despite the store not being crowded and more than 10 sales associates standing around. They claim to offer top-tier retail service, but the reality is very disappointing. At this point, I can’t recommend this store.

On December 31st, I went to the Apple Store at Wellington Mall to purchase a new phone for my business. I made it clear from the start that this was my business phone line and that I could not be without service. Purchasing a phone should be a simple, efficient process, not a two-and-a-half-hour wait filled with confusion and lack of support. My sales representative, TJ, helped with the purchase, but when it came time to transfer my Comcast business SIM, he did not know how to do it. I was told it could be handled in another area and was moved, where Miguel was assigned to assist me. After waiting over an hour, Miguel began helping me but was suddenly instructed by the store manager, Mandy, to take a break. When I expressed concern about the long wait, her response was simply that “by law” she had to give him a break—without any attempt to transition or ensure I was supported. I was then told Apple staff were not trained to transfer Comcast SIM cards and was instructed to call Comcast myself. The number provided did not work, and I had to find the Comcast business department on my own. Before telling me to go to a Comcast store, the manager stated that if the transfer didn’t work, she could “always give me my money back,” despite the fact that I had already spent around $1,500 and was mid-process with a critical business line. While actively on the phone with Comcast—without a second line and unfamiliar with the terminology—I was repeatedly left alone. Phones were brought without working lines and then taken away. All staff walked away from my station. When I politely asked another Apple employee for help, I was met with a rude response. After an hour and a half, the manager returned, spoke over me, repeated that Apple was not responsible for the transfer, and then asked me to leave the store, claiming there had been complaints about me interrupting employees—which was not true. This experience was not about policy. It was about lack of care, guidance, and professionalism. As a business customer making a significant purchase, I left feeling unsupported and disrespected. Attached the voicemail transcript from Comcast agent.
