The charger that came with the phone I purchased less than a year ago stopped charging. The "friendly and helpful' Verizon rep' said that because I purchased this expensive phone in a Verizon store in a different state he could not replace the charger.
It's not the sales rep's fault that Verizon has terrible customer support.
I have been a Verizon customer for years. This is Verizon's customer appreciation? The charger cost $40.00. For me that's a lot of money.
Verizon should be ashamed of themselves.
Addendum- Verizon just sent this email pictured, offering a deal.. to spend more money with them. Verizon is nothing if not predatory.

Chloe did a great job taking care of me! I transferred from another carrier, so needed the transfer and a phone upgrade. She was attentive to my needs and helped find deals for me. She's helped me with troubleshooting the iCloud data transfer issues my phone was having. A few days later, she proactively checked in with me to see if everything is good with the transfer. I am so happy she did because I actually had some corporate Verizon issues that I needed help with but felt overwhelmed with the idea of having to sort this out on my own. She was able to communicate with corporate Verizon on my behalf and get resolutions. Not only is Chloe knowledgeable, she is friendly too, highly recommend!!

I went in to upgrade my phone on Black Friday and had the best experience! As soon as I walked in Ibrahim welcomed me in and asked me what I was in for. When I told him I wanted to upgrade my IPhone 13Pro Max to the new IPhone 17Pro Max he legitimately wasted no time to tell me about the specials they had and how I could get the best upgrade possible! After about 20 minutes I was able to get a new phone, new Apple Watch, and new iPad all with an amazing deal and a trade in! Ibrahim answered all my questions and helped me through the entire process. The manager even came up at one point and introduced himself. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Best Verizon store I’ve ever been to! 10/10 customer service
