I went to Verizon today just to return my old phone, and the experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting. The employee helping me told me I couldn’t turn in my old phone until everything on it was deleted. I trusted him to handle that, but because he was distracted, in a rush, and not paying attention, he deleted everything on my new phone instead.
I lost irreplaceable messages and photos, including texts from family members who have passed away. When I became upset — understandably — he offered no apology and instead kept telling me to “chill.” He also tried to excuse his mistake by saying he “wasn’t Apple” and didn’t understand.
To make matters worse, when I called to speak with a manager afterward, she told me she was too busy to deal with it and asked what I wanted her to do. The lack of accountability and compassion from both the employee and the manager was shocking.
I’ve always trusted Verizon with my devices and data, but this experience has completely shaken that trust. No customer should have to go through something like this.

I don’t even know where to begin. I placed an order for a new iPhone payed for it online after it showed phones available at this location. After receiving confirmation of my order I waited for over 4hrs and never was notified that my order was cancelled by the store. I called Verizon and they called the store and verified my phone was sold to someone else. The Verizon rep explained to me and told me they had only one phone left that they would hold for me. Upon arrival they did have a phone but this is were it took a turn downhill they had me take phone off find my phone I could not remember my password and salesman at store told me to try a few other options that he and another guy helped with completely locking me out of my iPhone services after waiting 4 hrs for a phone that the store cancelled my order and I was told that that phone was sold to someone else after I had ordered it was pure BS then after being at store for 2hrs I left with no phone and Apple locked!!!! I was offered an account credit for the inconvenience. Oh and I forgot I drove 28 miles to this location. Waste of time
