I can’t speak highly enough of the staff here at the clinic. They took care of my kitties with so much love and kindness. We moved and had to relocate to a different veterinarian but I will always have a spot in my heart for the care team here, they got me through some very tough times with my cats’ health struggles with compassion and top-notch care. It’s expensive but worth it for the calm environment that reduces the stress your cat will experience at the vet, but also cannot stress the importance of pet insurance to help with unexpected bills. Thank you for taking care of my family and treating us as part of your family!

I looked around for vets after we got our cat, and after some research we decided on VCA Carrollwood Animal Hospital. Honestly this place is great. It’s so cozy and cute. The staff was so nice and they were so great about answering questions (nervous first time cat mom). The clinic was quiet and calming for my nervous kitty. Lab results were quick and the staff is super responsive and I love the app that has chat support after hours. The vet and vet tech were also super nice with my Moon. The prices are reasonable in my opinion. Definitely recommend!

VCA got us in immediately to check my male cat for a UTI after i was blown off by our current vets staff . VCA was cozy and quiet. Everyone working there was so friendly and gentle with my Cheeto. We will be coming here now for all our cat's needs.

Dr. Lockhart is truly excellent. Over the summer, we took our little cat, Remy, to VCA Carrollwood because she was having appetite and lethargy issues. She had always been a very playful, healthy cat, so we thought she just had worms. Dr. Lockhart, in one visit, realized that she probably had pyometra (a very serious condition), and recommended that we go to a surgeon as soon as possible for an emergency procedure. We took her to a vet surgeon in South Tampa who performed the timely procedure. It was in fact a case of pyometra, as confirmed by the surgeon, and Dr. Lockhart's expertise saved our cat's life. I highly recommend her if your cat is having issues, and you want an accurate and expert diagnosis. Correct and fast diagnosis was the key to survival in our situation.
