  Tracfone is refusing to unlock a device despite it having plenty of time on their system. They are holding me hostage for $150. I will never use Tracfone after this experience and will never recommend their service. IMEI: 357973421583177

  My friend went to get an iPhone 16e from them. Before going, he confirmed that they had the phone in stock. But after he arrived, they suddenly said they couldn’t give him the phone. He drove 30 minutes, and now they’re telling him the situation “looks suspicious” without giving any real explanation. On the Total Wireless website, they accept Google Voice, but the store refused it. We also tried at Metro earlier, and they said the same thing — no reason, just “we can’t give you the phone.” They’re even telling him to get a phone from Cricket or Metro instead. He already has a Total Wireless line, so why would he switch carriers?

  Stupid store, they told me over the phone that they had the iPhone 16e available. I called before coming, and they confirmed it. After driving 15 miles to the store, they’re now saying they can’t give me the phone. I tried to port my number from Google Voice, but they told me Google Voice won’t work, so I was planning to port my Metro by T-Mobile SIM instead to claim the 16e offer. Now they’re refusing to give me the phone and saying the situation is “suspicious.” I also have the call recording where your team confirmed that the iPhone 16e was available. After making me drive all the way there, this is completely unacceptable. I will be filing a complaint.
