Our vacuum recently failed, and I immediately purchased a replacement. Afterward, I contacted Dyson to inquire about a possible credit or compensation toward the new purchase in light of the circumstances. Unfortunately, my request was denied solely because the replacement was purchased during a sale. This response was disappointing and did not reflect the level of customer care I expected from a brand we have supported for years. As a result, we will not be purchasing Dyson products moving forward and will be exploring alternatives from competitors. It’s unfortunate to see loyal customers treated this way, and I hope Dyson reevaluates its approach to customer retention. Update 1/13/26 - Dyson has reached out and is working with me to resolve the issue. I appreciate their willingness to listen and for taking steps to make things right.
