Literally waited for help in a few different departments, staffed by mostly younger folks who rather talk to one another than ask people for help. Honestly don't know how they are trained. Sad really the presentation of merchandise is top notch but the help just isn't there.
The only reason three stars was earned because a young man named DJ finally came and helped me. Sad.

I had an excellent experience at this Best Buy location after what could have been a very stressful situation. I accidentally purchased the wrong product, and the return/exchange process was not straightforward due to it being the purchase of a virtual gift card.
The store team—especially the store director—went above and beyond to help me. He spent roughly 20 minutes working through the issue with me and truly bent over backwards to make sure the return and exchange were handled properly. Because of his effort, I was able to avoid losing money on what would have been a wasted gift card.
I unfortunately didn’t catch his name, but his patience, professionalism, and willingness to help made a huge difference. This level of customer service is rare and greatly appreciated. I’ll absolutely continue shopping at this location.

I consistently choose this Best Buy location because of its massive product selection but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional customer service. Every time I’ve needed a return, exchange, or help resolving an issue, the team has gone above and beyond to make the process easy and stress-free.
I especially want to highlight Nate, who made sure I was fully taken care of. I put a lot of time and thought into researching purchases, both for personal use and for my business, so knowing that support is there if something doesn’t go as planned makes a huge difference. Nate not only helped resolve a complicated return issue, but also took the time to help me find the exact product that best fit my needs.
His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for the customer experience truly stood out. It’s rare to find someone in customer service who is this invested in making sure the customer feels supported and confident in their purchase. Nate is an incredible representative of Best Buy and honestly, he deserves a raise or a bonus for the way he shows up and delivers excellence.
Highly recommend this location and ask for Nate if you need help you’ll be in great hands.

Amazing experience at the South Tampa location. JOSE was absolutely awesome and the most helpful. After a bad experience at another location, JOSE single handily saved my experience with Best Buy. He offered great options for my purchase with no pressure. He was knowledgeable on all the products which allowed me to make a sound decision to complete the purchase. Jose is awesome. The South Tampa store crew was amazing all around. Thank you.
