1-Star – Best Buy just lost a loyal customer forever
Long-time Geek Squad member with their credit card who’s spent thousands on TVs, appliances, and computers. Paid $179 to install a high-dollar TV — tech then demanded another $100 just to connect WiFi and make sure it worked. I told him to take it back immediately and I’m returning every recent purchase too.
Years of damaged deliveries, awful installers, rude staff, and managers who only parrot corporate lines. Best Buy clearly doesn’t care about real customers anymore.
Done. Taking my business elsewhere
Wouldn’t take my credit card for payment of 10.00 dollars so I gave them cash. No receipt was given and when I returned they had a hard time finding the transaction. That was all done inside 15 minutes!!!!!

If I could give no stars I would.
Paid for soundbar ($1,000) and delivery/installation and set up ($499). Not only was delivery 1 week late (it took 4 attempts for someone to show up with delivery), soundbar still has not been configured.
Service staff is indifferent and uninterested in resolving the problem...no one calls back or follows up. I'm giving 1 week to get resolved or returning it ..unless I can set it up myself...but that's not the point (after a 4 week continuous debacle). Calling customer service is a nightmare. Want to talk to a human being?...nearly impossible.
Probably last time going to Best Buy.

Manager this morning, Carlos or Oscar MANAGER ON DUTY AT 10:37 am on SATURDAY 1/31/2026 (not sure) was rude and disrespectful. Clearly has no customer service skills at all, you don’t put down a customer verbally when they need help. I promise I will be speaking with your boss directly. I will find out your name and exactly why you treat people like dirt. You are honestly one of the most disrespectful employees I have ever come across in the industry. That is so sad considering people hardly come into the actual store anymore, you should probably enjoy your job a little more and learn to be polite. The other little gentleman next to him was at least super polite but you could also see he was scared when the manager was talking, clearly he is abusive to the employees. Thanks!!!
