I made an appointment at the Genius Bar to reinstall the software on my old MacBook Air because it was showing an error. I went there and left the laptop. The lady who helped me was very friendly. She told me they would call me later that same day when it was ready for pickup.
However, no one called. I tried calling multiple times but got no answer. I waited until the next morning and drove back there. After waiting in line for a while, when it was my turn, someone else handed me the laptop and said it was ready.
When I opened it and checked, the error was still there—no repair had been done. I pointed this out, and he told me that because the laptop is more than five years old, Best Buy cannot accept it or perform the repair, and that I would need to go directly to Apple.
Just for the record: I am 38 weeks pregnant, and this place is a 40-minute drive for me. The staff was nice, but the system and organization were a 0/10.

I had the best customer service experience of my LIFE at this Best Buy. Angel at geek squad here not only helped me weigh my options with a pc that wasn’t working but walked every step of the way with me and even let me test it afterwards to make sure it was working! Shout out Angel! And also the red head cashier who helped us as well!! (Sorry I didn’t get your name) but these two really made the experience easy!
I love shopping at Best Buy! Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at the Stuart Location Best Buy Store. So disappointed, I will never shop at this location again. Everyone, take the time to drive to the Palm Beach store.
Absolutely the worst Best Buy I've ever been to. 3 employees for the entire store. As I'm standing in line I've watched 4 people in front of me leave. No one cares I've spoken with security and his answer was I don't know. So a 45min wait to get my Mom her phone a livly phone. They should close if they don't have enough employees.
Best Buy misleads or lies when they say an item is it’s in store inventory and available for pick up next day. I purchased an electronic item in stock at my store a mile from me on a Tuesday & they say I cannot pick up until Saturday because my purchase is going through standard fraud review. Store associate told me everyone goes through this. I asked if I was on some “special” list and he said I was not. I did not get a text or email informing me of the delay. Best Buy sucks at this time.
