Read below, if you choose. Apparently I am Clark Griswald. And that, is on me. Might also be my parents, ultimately. But, the words were on me, no, from me, non-the-less.
I do apologize for these employee remarks. The iPad was still oddly dismissive and a fast, back and forth. But it's old and &, per Apple, old is not worthy of, Stayin' Aliiiiiiive. {---- you're supposed to sing that part......Sing it!
Yikes--
Tyrone Geek Squad stole my money. Ripped off. Pay a friend who knows computers.
I asked Amthony to debug my desktop and add any parts to make it run. I got it plugged in at home, afterward, and it doesn't even turn on. Nothing. Upon arrival, he said, "Well, we'll have to add the parts first to do anything." I agreed. I'm there for a running computer.
They scheduled me to come in, in a couple days. The day after my initial visit I was told they were trying to get a hold of me. So, I called them. Yeah, they had my number. They asked where I was. I told them Anthony and I agreed on Wednesday. Then whomever on the phone, said, "You needed parts," with the tone of, how could you not know? I verified Anthony and I spoke about all this. Isn't it written down? They were confused. I told the second person, add the parts, I need it checked and running
So, if it's still just the same limited parts, how did they check? Did they add parts, do diagnostics, then remove them to what it was before? Literally nothing is different. Nothing. Dust isn't even moved from the casing.
Anthony initially said, yeah we can verify your iPad is clean of the malware too, beyond the app deletion. There was a duplicate app. He deleted it, but I was still worried because the hacker got in with a doc with a hidden url. Plus, from my initial phone malware, he has my ssn from medical and banking apps.
When I was in the second time, talking with the shorter young lady with brown hair & glasses, she furroughed her brow shook her head no and said, that's weird because we traditionally don't do tablets. Sorry, traditionally? What does a customer do with that? I informed her, "Anthony said, no problem. When I pick up the fixed desktop, drop off the iPad and then just come back, if a little wait on the iPad is ok." I agreed.
She looked confused. (Second person Anthony left in the dark.) She said, "Hang on." I chilled, assuming my desktop was fixed, and she came out from the back after some time and begrudgingly took the iPad. Well after a bit more time, I got it back. She just said, "Everything's fine."
Now, my desktop still has the same limited parts. How am I to believe it was looked at at all? This will be looked at by a professional who wants to work, when I can afford it.
I paid cash, Geek Squad. I can literally barely pay rent. Food stamps are cut. What is wrong with you?
Robbed, guys.
