I recently purchased a drone from Best Buy after specifically asking an associate whether the protection plan would cover a replacement if the drone was lost or unretrievable. I was told confidently that it would, and based on that information, I proceeded with the purchase and added the protection plan. When the drone was lost during normal use, I returned to the store expecting the replacement I was assured of. Instead, I was denied service and directed to the protection plan policy, which clearly excludes lost items. I was then told to contact corporate, who repeated the same policy and simply apologized that I was given incorrect information. They suggested I call the store again, despite knowing I would receive the same answer. At no point did anyone take responsibility for the misinformation I was given at the time of purchase. I was misled into buying both the drone and the protection plan under false expectations, and Best Buy offered no solution to make it right. As a long‑time customer, this experience was extremely disappointing. Once my remaining Best Buy credit balance is paid off, I have no intention of shopping here again.

***Unethical sales tactics and refusal to release paid-over property*** I experienced the most unprofessional and predatory "customer service" I have ever encountered at this location. I purchased a high-end cellphone directly from Samsung, which was routed to this Best Buy for pickup after a failed delivery attempt. I arrived with every possible proof of ownership: my receipt, transaction confirmation, order number, and government ID. Instead of handing over the device I had already paid for, the staff essentially held my property hostage. They refused to release the phone and instead tried to pressure me into applying for a Best Buy credit card and "repurchasing" the device through them. When I refused to open a new line of credit for an item I already owned, they processed a return and refund against my explicit consent. Because of their refusal to fulfill the pickup, I lost a $100 promotional bonus from my credit card company associated with the original purchase. This store would rather tank a customer’s financial incentives and violate basic retail ethics to hit a credit card sign-up quota than simply provide the service they are contracted to do. Absolute predatory behavior. Avoid this location at all costs.

Had a good selection of what I was looking for and plenty of staff who offered to help me from the moment I walked in. A definite change from past experience. I was in and out in 15 minutes

Every single time I come into Best Buy I just instantly become dizzy. Each and every time when I am in here I always think I can remember where and how to find things from last time when I was here from my memory is pretty good. But these people go out of their way to change up where everything is located intentionally so you have to intentionally ask for help of some sort I bet. Recently came here for a USB Wifi & Bluetooth Combo adapter they didn't have it. There wifi USB adapters were so expensive $70 and pushing $99 for something I found on Amazon for $19.99 absolutely a joke. If you're going to get a wifi adapter you're going to want Bluetooth with it if you're machine your trying to fix also doesn't work right anymore. So yeah wanting only just wifi for a USB adapter is so last year a combo adapter with Bluetooth is very nice. Not to mention how dead this place has become too. Best Buy more like Scam Buy. Amazon came in clutch not to mention being astronomicaly cheaper!! Take that Scam Buy. If anyone is going to buy a WiFi adapter for over $70 it better come with loads of extras but not including Bluetooth as well when Amazon has it for $19.99 absolutely no point to coming to a store that's absolutely no able to make it worth it at all. They had such bad options things that were just absolutely pointless. Like a Wifi router that's well over 499.99 like this Best Buy name and brand has gone down hill completely, all while all being completely derailed off the tracks like a 256 cargo train thats leaking toxic liquid into the drinking water so bad. They can't and won't fix any kind of customer machine that involves customer and just want to shove a brand new computer down your throat instead of fixing the issues properly, they also say how it's always going to take 2 weeks to do the most simplistic repairs like shipping your PC off to China to the manufacturer to some off site repair center for just someone else who doesn't want to fix it and say it's unrepairable on top of the fact of it getting lost in the mail. I have dealt with Best Buy a long time ago when Windows 8/ 8.1 was around and the company had always found ways to make massive mistakes over simple issues. I literally refuse to deal with this company as much as possible. I only deal with best buy if it's absolutely my last resort. Best buy's website will claim they have something in-stock you go and get there just to find out that it's not in-stock they are a waste of time. There logistics is a mess. They have made 5 way to many mistakes in my life time of dealing with Best Buy to like there company at all.

The worst place to get your computer fixed for the main reason of the geek squad manager knows nothing about computers I asked her about DDR5 she had no clue what it was she had no clue what a motherboard was she hardly speaks English she was very rude condescending and treated The equipment I brought in with the utmost disrespect stay clear of displays only because that geek squad manager controls things and she does not care about you your computer your electronics she will damage things due to her inexperience I don't know how she was placed as manager of geek squad without knowing simple things like what DDR5 Yes they will damage your items no you should not go there you'll get ripped off charge double and end up having to pay other people to fix their mistakes this is not because of the employees it's because of management let that be clear
