I did a lot of research online before coming into this Verizon store. I knew exactly what I wanted two phone lines one for me, one for my wife, a new iPhone 17 Pro, an Apple Watch Ultra 3, and cellular service for the watch. I was already familiar with Verizon’s online promotions and pricing. The only reason I came into the store was to see if there were any additional in-store promotions or discounts available.
When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly employee. He was polite and nice, which is the main reason this review isn’t one star. However, it was pretty clear he didn’t really know what he was doing and seemed new. No issue with his attitude just the lack of experience showed.
The biggest issue was pricing. Online, the exact setup I wanted was showing around $120 a month. In the store, doing the exact same thing, it came out closer to $150 a month, even though the employee was essentially following the same steps I had already done online.
At the very end, I was informed there was a $40 one-time in-store fee per line. Since I was opening two phone lines and adding service for my Apple Watch, that came out to $120 in one-time fees, just for shopping in the store. That was on top of the higher monthly price. Ordering online did not have these fees at all.
Another frustrating part was that Verizon was running a $200 gift card promotion online for opening a new account and getting new phones. When I mentioned this promotion in the store, it felt like it was being avoided or glossed over. Only after I brought it up did they say they could “add it in,” which didn’t sit right with me. It felt like something they weren’t going to offer unless I already knew about it.
They were also hesitant to apply my law-enforcement discount, while the online process applied it immediately with no issues.
On top of everything, the store didn’t have the iPhone color I wanted or the watch band I wanted in stock.
In the end, I literally ordered everything online while standing in the store. Online, there were no extra fees, the price stayed at $120 a month, and the promotions were applied clearly and upfront which I think is actually a great deal. I’ve also heard great things about Verizon’s service overall.
All in all, Verizon seems solid, but this store specifically felt sketchy. If you’re going with Verizon, I strongly recommend doing it online instead of in person.

We do all of our upgrades and new phones with Russell. They often find better promos and deals that you can find on your own. They have great service and follow up as well.

Yasmin is the best!
My wife came to upgrade her phone and Yasmin explained everything in great detail and was very friendly and thorough. Made the daunting process of getting a new phone and all of the data transferred over much easier.

Love when I go into the Store in SunCity I always see Chris. He is very knowledgeable very courteous and polite especially when you have someone of my age that is not that savvy with electronics he is patient and he's also fun talking to making the experience so much better. Recently upgraded my phone and got phone's for my grandchildren he made sure We were on the right plans without breaking the budget. I'm usually not one for writing a review but Chris went above and beyond to give the best customer service.
