Purchased new phones online and went to trade in the old phones at the South Lakeland location, was told trade ins were not accepted there so I went to this Plant City location which is more local to me and was again, told that they do not accept the trade ins in store even though that is clearly an option. I expressed my concern that I already chose the option to trade into the store and that I didn’t have a QR code to trade into UPS. The guy working this evening canceled my trade in and told me to initiate a new trade in and take it to UPS. I have now been dealing with Verizon trying to get my original deal when I purchased the new phones and the whole process is just ridiculous. My “estimated monthly bill” has gone up $100 because of this. Not only is it irritating that my trade in was canceled, I can’t speak to anybody that understands what the hell is going on. I’ve been a customer for 8 years and this is just ridiculous.

My husband and I went into the Plant City store yesterday to upgrade our phones, and we were welcomed right away by a very friendly service rep who was eager to help us. Zay Delgado spent several hours answering our questions, helping us find the best phone for our needs and setting everything up for us, as well as giving us information and advice on other services we have with Verizon. We don’t usually write reviews, but we had a good experience in this store and appreciate all of Zay’s help and enjoyed the conversation and laughs with him!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending a few hours at the Verizon store. Working on Christmas phones for the kids and switching my phone over so it took a bit.
First off Max was AMAZING! Friendly, helpful, funny and just was a great experience having him help me. I was there for quite some time so I basically felt like friends by the end of my time there.
The store is under new management and every employee I got to interact with was just super friendly.
While I was there a man came in cursing at one of the Verizon employees, tore his bill up and was just incredibly rude. I wish I could remember the employees name who handled it, but he did it with grace and patience. He was friendly and tried his best to deal with the situation.
I honestly can’t speak enough praises for how well my visit went. They are genuinely people I’d want to hang out with they made everything so easy and comfortable.
This all said for the point that if you’ve ever had a bad experience at this store give it another chance. Just remember that these things do take time so go in with a little grace and a good attitude and they will treat you like family!
