Will never use Geek squad to repair my devices again. Had appt 1/8/26 at 6:40 pm to get device serviced and it just got checked in. To check the decive in took a hour. The agent said my device repair would take until midday the next day because they had the repair items in stock at the store. Midday next day came and no update since the phone was checked in. Reached out to the Best Buy chat just for them to say the same thing, that my device is being repaired. It wasn’t a major repair. I don’t understand how there is no communication whatsoever about there being a delay, etc. I will be going up to the store today to get my device back and take it somewhere that actually knows how to communicate and get things done in a timely manner. I also called the store, left a voicemail and got no call back.

Excellent service!! Aubrey is a ROCK STAR! I had an emergency need for a new phone. Aubrey knew the inventory well enough to quickly help me get exactly what I needed. She also gave me a helpful suggestion for getting content off my old phone. The screen was completely useless. Grateful to be back in biz!

I had the absolute worst experience today with the black lady that was doing returns and customer service. I had an issue and was also talking to the 1-888 number trying to get it handled and they asked to speak to the associate. She took my phone and didn’t say anything to the lady from customer service and then TOSSED my phone on the counter! I was speechless. The bald white guy was nice and trying to help and thankfully at the last second got my order. The lady definitely needs a coaching on customer service and a retrain. I’m absolutely positive Best Buy has better ethics than that. If she had broke or messed up my phone when she tossed it I’m 100% certain cops would have been called.

Worst experience I have ever had at a Best Buy. First, they told me that the geek squad employee that fixed my laptop in TN didn't do it right and wasn't supposed to fix it like that but was supposed to send it off. Either way I spent 500 dollars on this Lenovo laptop and the screen keeps dimming. It has a 1 year warranty so then they wanted me to leave it for 3 days and charge me 140 dollars to MAYBE fix it!!
Didn't do that so then the guy said he could give me s HDMI chord to at least work until I get back home. Guess what? He gave me the wrong chord!!! He was rude as hell too, kept saying that other girl made me have expectations that weren't real. I know I will never buy a laptop from Best Buy!!

we purchased out tv from best buy in 2022 and had geek squad come out and hang it and hide the wires. we recently moved into a new house, and called the phone number listed to set an appointment for geek squad to hang the tv and hide the wires in out new home. we made the appointment, paid the 200.00 and geek squad came out on 11/26 to hang the tv. while they were hanging the tv i asked if they were going to put the wires behind the wall. we were then informed that we only paid for the basic tv mount that did not include the hiding of the wires. after they left i called the customer service number to figure out why we were sold the basic tv mount service, when we specifically asked for the tv to go up, and the wires to be hidden. never once when we made the appointment did the agent say "this service does not include x,y,z and if you want to add the additional service that will be x amount of dollars". the agent i spoke to and file a compliant said she would escalate the situation and have a supervisor call me. it is now dec. 3rd and i still have not received a call, so i call back to get an update. the agent never filed the complaint. the new agent im speaking to told me if i wanted the wires to go behind the wall it an additional 165 dollars. i told them that was not acceptable and that they need to cover the fee, since i was under the impression that i was already receiving that service when i made the appointment the first time, since that was what i asked for. after arguing with these people for hours for several days and requesting a supervisor i finally am able to speak to one after 5 days. the supervisors calls and says since i did not pay for the service he will have to charge me 70 dollars for them to come back and do that. i explain again that is ridiculous and poor customer service that i have to pay for someone else mistake when i asked for that service the first time, and was under the impression that is what i paid for and they messed up. on dec. 5th i go to the Pensacola store and speak to the manager of geek squad, and he tells me the same thing for 70.00, but he said he was going to call the complaint line and see what they can do. after he speaks with them, they call me and tell me that i can pay 40 dollars for them to come and hide the wires. i pay the 40.00. geek squad comes today, but say i have to pay another 80.00 for the part needed to do the job, we declined the job since that was never told to us. never once was i told through all of this that the 40.00 was just for them to show up, and i would need to pay another 80.00 for the part. best buy is a SCAM!! if i was told i would need all this addiional crap the first time, i would have never had them come out. we will not be using best buy again and will be taking our business and money elsewhere. i will also be going up to the store AGAIN to file a complaint with the store manager. what a WAIT of my time and money! SCAM!
