I want to say I appreciate the love, understanding, and care you gave my cat Otis. He was a good man who didn't make it, but they tried everything. Their care and compassion went above and beyond. You will find good and caring people here for your loved ones. Thank you again.

It’s unbelievable — if you lose your pet and someone takes it to VCA Orange Park, even if it’s microchipped in your name, they’ll just change the name to the person who brought it in. All so they can get paid for the services. And they justify it like it’s okay — saying it’s the owner’s fault for not looking hard enough.
What a shame. What’s the point of a microchip then? We’re told it’s supposed to protect our pets and help bring them home, but if a clinic can just switch the name and not even bother to contact the person listed on the chip, that’s not protection — that’s greed.
They don’t even check or call the microchip company to confirm ownership. They just take the person’s word for it. No questions asked, no phone call to the real owner, no effort to reunite a family. That’s beyond careless — it’s heartless.
And the worst part? VCA is a corporate company. That means it’s all about money, not compassion. The focus isn’t on reuniting pets with the families who love them — it’s on how to make a profit. Greed has replaced empathy, and that’s why they look the other way when something like this happens.
They hand over a lost animal to whoever walks in and claim it’s “legal.” But a lost pet isn’t property for profit — it’s family.
We trust these clinics to care, to do the right thing, to protect the animals we love — not to take advantage of people who are already brokenhearted. The system is supposed to help, not hurt. And when a corporate company treats compassion like a business transaction, everyone loses — especially the animals who can’t speak for themselves.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have Dr. Runnfeldt as my pet’s surgeon and general veterinarian. Our family has been going to this office since the 80’s and there definitely a reason. Every Dr we have seen over the years has been
very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you to the Drs like Dr. Runnfeldt and the support staff like Kelly. We appreciate you.

We have been bringing our cat here for 10 years and have always gotten great treatment. The team is friendly and knowledgable.
Asher gets very grump at the vet and they have to take special precautions so he doesn't bite them and they are careful not to injure him.
They even helped me fill out paperwork so that we could travel overseas with him. He has a kitty passport.

I’m so so grateful to Dr. Corso and the staff here. I was able to make a Same Day appointment and the clinic was easy to find. It was clean and welcoming, and they saw us at our appointed time.
The receptionist was very kind and sympathetic to our dogs needs.
Since this was an emergency issue for us, we didn’t have the financials needed to cover the higher ended recommendations, however Dr.Corso and her assistant helped us with options, answered all our questions and also went out of their way to help us find an affordable way to pay for the medication she prescribed.
They gave me the feeling that they genuinely cared, unlike others I had called and went to before. Again, extremely grateful for them🙏🏼
