Went in to look for a corner/elbow/L-shaped HDMI cable, or adapter. Staff told me they didn't have it(which is fine) but recommended a swivel adapter. I said that wouldn't work for my application since it didn't swivel in the direction I needed to. Was told that "didn’t make sense". I explained I needed the cable to angle left, not up or down per the orientation of the swivel. Was once again told "that didn't make sense", and that "people see stuff online that isn't real." After he recommends a straight cord, and the swivel that won't help, that they didn't even have in stock, I left. Had he just said it wasn't something they carried, this would have been a non-issue. The review is for the attitude, not the store itself. Anyway, here is the mythical cable that isn't real.

Worst experience in a while. My mother in law bought me a microsoft surface for Christmas and was up sold to get the microsoft 365 for family card. I didn't need this because I have a business license. There's One manager, that's in the store who did try to actually help me.But it had to be corporate who would release it my mother-in-law was not told that she can't return this.In fact , she was told the opposite and this is a blatant lie and nobody else at best buy seems to give a damn.
Moral of the story don't let them upsell you on anything.

workers are always on their feet and moving around looking to help customers and always (for me at least) have always had the knowledge and answers to my questions. clean and secure building.

DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY PERIOD! You call customer service and can not get through to an American or anyone that speaks good English. You wait on hold for 13 minutes after fighting with AI for about 5 minutes to get a hold of someone who can not help you but refuses to transfer you to a supervisor. After you go through minutes of repetitive phone numbers and names, they will then escalate you to a specialist who again, speaks broken English and if they don’t hang up on you, you get no help and this is after spending over a thousand dollars on a laptop I do not have. You can never reach anyone in the store. They make trilllions of dollars from customers a year. You mean to tell me you can’t afford to pay people in store to answer the freaking phone. Boycotting ideas anyone?
