I had previously taken my dog to a different vet and was told she had allergies, which I was given a prescription for. I didn’t notice any difference in her symptoms, so I decided to take her to VCA based on the good reviews. I explained to them that she had been losing hair and shaking her head frequently. VCA told me she had an ear infection. I then completed the course of medication given, to yet again not notice any difference in symptoms. I took her back and was informed that they didn’t do any type of ear swab culture, so I had to now pay for a test I feel should have been done at the first visit. I then paid for another course of treatment. Despite the multiple treatments, the hair loss never resolved. To make matters worse, when it came time for the recheck of her ears I was told that the office wanted me to have her sedated before the visit. I was taken aback by this because my dog has been to a few different vets and I was never told she needed to be sedated. My dog continues to have hair loss, that I feel this office has never been thorough enough to diagnose. Between the guessing game this vet does for diagnosing pets and the clear inability to handle large dogs, I would not recommend this office.

I have been taking my cats, Blackbaby, Chase, Roux and Tuna, to Little Animal Hospital since April 13th, 2021 and I have always had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff Tracy and Evette are always so welcoming and helpful. Ms. Ann is so helpful and willing to work with you. The technicians (Lisa, Kristen, Amber and David) team is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Catherine Wendt, DVM is fantastic and always takes the time to answer all our questions without making me feel rushed. It's a great feeling to know my fur babys are in such good hands. 😸🙏💙
