I had requested for someone to assist me in my selection, as this was my first time purchasing this item. I was nicely greeted and told someone would be available to help me in 5-10 minutes. The Greeter was very helpful to make a few quick suggestions and pointed out potential two options. When I asked if I could try them before purchasing, he informed me that the store policy is to purchase and return if not satisfied. I went to the demo table to try the two on display. The Greeter explained that the demos were not currently activated. I was not comfortable investing in something without first trying it, waiting in line to pay for something I wasn't sure would work for me and then returning to the store to wait in line to return if it didn't meet expectations. I asked to speak with a Manager. The Greeter explained that they were all very busy and I was welcome to wait until one was available but, he wasn't sure how long that would be. They were busy with Certification, I was told. This experience was not a pleasant one. I felt that my potential purchase and time were totally disrespected. I was told that Customer Service was poorly provided before my visit to this store today. I disagreed because, I always had a pleasant and helpful experience in the past. If you know exactly what you're looking for, I understand why shopping online has become so popular. Upon leaving Best Buy, I took a chance and stopped at the Staples next door to it. The Cashier enthusiastically greeted me and came from behind her counter to recommend a headset and allowed me try it. While the Customer Service at Best Buy was very poor, at Staples, I was able to find answers to my important questions and make an educated decision on my purchase.
