You are required to fully pay off your iPhone before you can upgrade it. Honestly, it’s better to buy your phone directly from Apple.

They also told me that I would have to start new service. Upon calliing customer service, I found out that my unit still had a warranty on it and that I could get another one for no addtional cost. I was also told that my service rep just wanted to get his incentive bonus but actiating new plans. When I was in store I was lied to and decided not to start a new plan.Beware of them trying to get you to activate new plans when you don't need them. This is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. Seems like they care more about their bonuses then helping actual customers.
