Many people in red shirts but we still had to wait for the "right" salesperson for close to 15 mins. Tried flagging down three people who seemed free but they said they could not help with headphones.

I am sharing this review to document a misleading sales interaction I experienced at this Apple Store regarding AppleCare. Prior to purchasing AppleCare, I asked a very explicit and direct question in order to avoid any misunderstanding. I specifically asked whether, by purchasing this coverage, accidental damage repairs would be fully covered at no additional cost. The sales associate assured me verbally that, with this coverage, repairs would be “free every time the device breaks.” When the device was later damaged, I was informed that a service fee was required for the repair, although reduced compared to the out-of-warranty price. The concern is not the reduced repair cost itself, but the fact that AppleCare was presented to me with information that was inaccurate and inconsistent with its actual terms, despite my clear and direct question. AppleCare does not provide unlimited free repairs, and this distinction should be communicated transparently and precisely at the time of sale.

Terrible Terrible service. I never write bad reviews, but i went in to get my airpod pro 2's looked at , as when I make calls, others can't hear me. I signed in on time to the genius bar, they told me to wait for 5 mins, then 30 mins go by and I check where anyone is. They said they marked that I was a no show on their genius bar ipad. They then looked at my device and said nothing looks wrong with it, but they have to send it out. I was still under the sub year limited warranty and said, can't you just replace it and they said no. I bought a pair of wired headphones as I need these for work. they sent it out and after a week they sent me a quote for water damage. these airpods have never been near water, and have only been used for work near my computer. I argued with the store and apple support that there is no water damage. the replacement fee was more than a new pair of apple air pods 3's, which makes no sense. so i said just send them back to me. Apple support and the Apple store was zero help. I'm a long time customer and they did not rectify the situation at all. I'm very very disappointed in apple. I will be buying my next wireless pair of headphones from another company.

Apple Brickell City Centre needs serious improvement in how they treat customers. I went in for AirPods service and Erica handled my case. She never once told me that the replacement part she was selling me through the Genius Bar was non-refundable. Not before charging me. Not during the process. Not even a warning. Nothing. Later the same day, I FOUND my original case and went back with the replacement completely unused and brand new. Steve Slimak, the manager, refused the refund immediately and hid behind a “policy” that was never explained to me at any point. Zero empathy. Zero flexibility. Just a flat “no.” I asked to escalate it. The store’s main manager, Jeremy, doubled down and said the same thing. No refund, even though their own employee failed to disclose anything about the non-refundable rule. This isn’t a normal product purchase. You can’t see a refund policy online for Genius Bar parts. You rely 100 percent on the staff to communicate clearly, and they didn’t. So I’m stuck paying for something I didn’t even need, simply because they didn’t tell me a basic rule that affects my money. The lack of transparency and customer care here is disappointing. If you need service, be careful. Ask every question upfront, because they definitely won’t warn you about anything that can cost you later.

Be careful at Apple Brickell City Centre. If you go to the Genius Bar for AirPods service, they will charge you for replacement parts without warning you that anything purchased through the service counter is automatically non-refundable. They don’t tell you this upfront. They don’t mention it before you pay. They only say it after they’ve already taken your money. I paid for a replacement AirPods case because I thought mine was lost. Later that same day, I found my original case and went back with the product untouched, sealed, and literally brand new. They still refused the refund. The only explanation was, “Since it was done through the Genius Bar, we don’t process refunds.” So you’re basically locked in the moment they swipe your card, whether they warned you or not. No flexibility. No transparency. Zero customer care. For a company that claims to value service, this location failed badly. If you need repairs or replacements, avoid this store unless you’re okay with paying for something you cannot return, even if the situation changes immediately.
