  I went to the store last Saturday to buy air tags and just want to express my most sincere gratitude to Jamal, he took time to help me and even ensamble my mophy holder and explain everything to me, a 77 yo man. Always smiling and telling me “no problem” that’s a good customer service specially after I came to the store and talk to a girls that doesn’t have time for me.

  I had a very frustrating experience at the Apple Store at Dadeland in Miami, Florida with my blue iPhone 17 Pro, 256GB. My phone unexpectedly died, would not charge properly past about 5%, and then began restarting itself every few minutes, which also prevented me from completing a full backup. I went to the store, was told it likely needed a logic board repair, returned after backing up what I could, and then waited through two failed repair attempts over several hours. I was also told the phone did not have water damage. What made this worse was the replacement process. I asked multiple times whether the phone could simply be exchanged, but I was told they would not replace it unless it was the same color. Later I was told they had no iPhone 17 Pro 256GB units in stock at all. After nearly 12 total hours of disruption across multiple days, I left without a repaired phone and with the burden placed on me to go to another location and handle the rest myself. Two employee was helpful and professional, but overall the process was disorganized, stressful, and much more difficult than it should have been.

  Not sure what planet this Apple Store lives on but making an appointment at genius bar then letting the customer wait for 30 minutes to tell them they need to wait another three hours for a simple battery service is just ridiculous. I also don’t understand why it should be busy on a weekday afternoon, which was the reason provided.

  I have been to multiple amazing Apple locations in multiple different states, but I will say that the Apple of South Miami in the Dadeland mall is the worst that I have been to. I have been to this location now 3 times each hoping that the next experience would be better, but no. Most of the people who work here lack respect to customers and doesn’t follow Apples “think different” motto. I went in to get advice for a new MacBook, and I received help from an individual who tried selling me a mac, an iPad, a Mac mini, an iPad Pro, and even a new phone. I told him probably 7 times throughout “I am looking for a new MacBook for work.” He never once asked me what I did, what my preferences were, what I was looking for. I had more success from a chatGPT response than 15 minutes with this individual. Just recently I went in to this location because the new MacBook I bought had start-up issues. The people there fixed it, but were unhelpful throughout the process and kept talking about worker drama right next to me with other co-workers. All in all, this location lacks professionalism, appropriate customer care, and the core values of the Apple company. Will now be going to the Brickell location from now on.
