For over 30 years, VCA South Dade Animal Hospital has been taking care of pets and their owners in our community. In May 2024, we moved to a 7,500 square foot state-of-the-art facility in order to provide the best care for all our patients. As one of the few animal hospitals in Miami that treats exotics, we have specialized veterinarians and equipment to care for your unique pets. We also offer boarding services for ALL species and are able to meet the specialized needs of all the species that we do see in our facility. We are happy to support our clients with preventive care, a top-of-the-line wellness program, nutrition counseling, basic or advanced dentistry, ultrasound, hands free radiology, and soft tissue surgery.

- GMGabriela MendesMar 30, 20261.0I arrived with my Italian Greyhound, who wouldnât stop vomiting. It was my first time going there because I live very close, and it was clearly an urgent situation. A woman with a scar on her face, who was extremely rude and lacking empathy, asked if my dog was already a client. When I said no, she told me I would have to wait until 3:40 pm for an appointment. It was 2 pm, and there was no one in the waiting room. I found her attitude terrible. She could have at least said, âLet me try to help since she wonât stop vomiting,â or had a nurse come and start IV fluidsâanything to provide some kind of priority care. The lack of preparation and empathy at this place, which calls itself a hospital, is awful. I do not recommend taking your pet there.
