I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent experiences at your store. That I have been a loyal customer of Best Buy for over 23 years, purchasing appliances, televisions, gaming systems for my children, computers, laptops, gym equipment, and more. Until last week, I had never encountered any issues with customer service.
However, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, I visited the store to purchase a printer for my office. During that visit, not a single employee acknowledged me. No one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. Several employees made eye contact with me, turned away, or walked directly past me without offering help.
At one point, a caucasian woman walked up a few feet away from me. The same employee who had just walked past me went directly to her and asked if she needed assistance. She informed him that I had been there before her. Instead of assisting me, he walked away toward the back of the store without saying a word. I left feeling disrespected, disappointed, and overlooked.
I considered contacting store management the following day, but unfortunately time passed and I did not follow through.
Today, February 23, 2026, I returned to the store, and the exact same experience occurred - this time involving different employees. Again, I was not acknowledged or offered assistance. At this point, it is difficult not to feel that I am being treated differently. The pattern of behavior across two separate visits raises serious concerns for me.
When I asked to speak with a manager, I was met with what felt like dismissive behavior. The employee appeared to bring over another coworker who acted as if they were the manager, displaying an indifferent and unconcerned attitude. This only added to my frustration.
After more than two decade of loyal patronage, I find this treatment unacceptable. I have since contacted Best Buy Corporate and will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will also be sharing my experience publicly to ensure this matter is addressed appropriately.
I am requesting a formal investigation into these incidents, clarification regarding who was on duty during my visits, and a written response explaining how this matter will be handled to ensure no other customer experiences similar treatment.
This situation will not go unresolved. I expect to be treated with the same courtesy and respect afforded to every customer who walks through your doors.
