Whatever you do, never—and I mean *never*—bring your cat to this hellhole. Seriously, without even laying eyes on your cat, they immediately tell you that it is in critical condition and won’t make it—unless, of course, you pay them $800, in which case it *will* survive. A veterinarian suddenly appears out of nowhere and tells you all of this without having examined the cat first. They make absolutely no attempt to hide the fact that they are only in it for the money, as they aren’t even capable of providing a genuine diagnosis. So, never, ever, *ever* bring your pets to this place.

Terrible experience. I was attended by SHAKIA, who was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the moment she opened the door. She looks CUBAN because of her rough manner and bad attitude. Her focus seemed to be only on money, not patient care. I left and drove 11 minutes to another hospital, where I was treated with kindness and professionalism. The cost difference was only $90—but the difference in treatment was priceless. Very attentive Dr. and the staff were very kind to us. My cat was being taken care of with love and delicacy since we were in the hospital. The consultation was only $130 plus the antibiotics were $48 only. So, in total, I paid $178 for everything. Mrs.SHAKIA mentioned $220 for consultation and if you can't has to stay it will be 800 okay? I just said” literally I see the money is extremely in important here, and again, she responded: " This is the reason why we do work 24 hours ma’am. I was going to pay for it, but I received her rude manner, I said, I will go to another hospital for better treatment and customer service. So, I have to say “ THANK YOU SHAKIA for your rudeness to us.

If you’re looking for a veterinarian who truly goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend Dr. Lauren Vezzosi at VCA enough. From the very first visit, Dr. Vezzosi has shown an incredible level of compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. You can tell right away that this isn’t just a job—it’s a passion. Every question is answered thoughtfully, every concern is taken seriously, and every decision is made with both the pet and the family in mind. What really stands out is the way Dr. Vezzosi blends medical expertise with kindness. There’s a calm, reassuring presence that makes even the most stressful situations feel manageable. You never feel rushed, and you always leave with a clear understanding of what’s going on and what the next steps are. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like their own, but that’s exactly what you get here. Truly grateful to have Dr. Vezzosi in our corner. Highly, highly recommend.

My dog was attacked by a Rottweiler Saturday night . One of the only emergency 24 hours even Around 10PM, came here was told Because they did not know the extent Her injuries was told to pay $850 up front. They brought it down to $220. Staff showed zero sense of urgency in their demeanor as my dog was Still bandaged up bleeding from her neck onto the floor of the lobby, Begging for assistance urgently they have Nurse come in empty handed only to immediately ask if i had paid already before even thinking of offering any assistance. Even composing myself from Lashing out at this person I paid the upfront cost only to Have to wait be told that they are short staffed and that they do not have the equipment to even perform stitches on my dog who had 2 8 inch Lacerations in her neck, and deep bite marks on the back of her neck. We left and went to St Francis Animal Hospital where they were able to help us but unfortunately my dog did not survive her injuries. My dog may have still had a chance had this place been more prepared and equipped to handle emergencies. Do not leave the trust in life of your pet in the hands of these people

If you are looking for a surgeon who understands both the mechanics of a complex procedure and the psychology of a high-drive dog, look no further than Dr. Patrick Flynn. Our German Shepherd, Apollo, had FHO surgery with Dr. Flynn on December 11. While the surgery itself was technically flawless, it was Dr. Flynn’s unconventional and brilliant recovery strategy that truly restored Apollo. He suggested a specific weight-loading technique on the affected leg that acted as the 'magic' trigger Apollo needed. It forced him to move past his hesitation and actually regain his confidence along with his muscle mass. Watching a three-year-old Shepherd go from major orthopedic surgery back to a full, high-speed quality of life is incredible. Dr. Flynn didn't just 'fix' the hip; he gave Apollo his spirit back. We are eternally grateful to the entire team at Hollywood VCA for their expertise and for treating Apollo like a star
