My grandmother purchased a phone from a different Verizon store, where they were temporarily out of screen protectors and cases. When she eventually acquired a screen protector and case for me, the employee at this location declined to assist with the installation, asserting that she had not purchased her phone at that store. From my perspective, Verizon is a unified service provider. I am genuinely disappointed by the discourtesy and lack of assistance exhibited by this individual towards her. Customer service is not available at this location!

And I’d appreciate that how was the best agent that we’ve had in the over 20 years we’ve been on Verizon. He checked all the discounts he was quick and when we got home everything worked. He even helped pair it to our cars cause we’re elderly. He is a shining star .

I went to the Verizon store in Hernando Fl and they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. As someone not born to this new fangled technology, it took me awhile to get accustomed to my new IPhone and Apple Watch. They were very patient and went above and beyond the service I’m used too. Thank you.

My wife traded in her old iPhone Pro Max for the iPhone 17 Pro Max… or so she told the rep that’s what she wanted to do. The rep at no point said “we do not have in stock but we can order” instead he brought out two iPhone boxes and asked “what color do you want gold or blue?” Naturally my wife felt the rep understood her request Pro Max for the newest Pro Max. After all set up fees, activation, taxes on new device totaling over $125 she left the store. The rep handled the device during the whole transfer. When she gets home, he traded her phone in for the iPhone Air. Again, at no point during the trade-in process, did the rep say the new device is an iPhone Air. We returned to the store later same-day because this is not the phone she wanted. The store manager Aubrey was not quick to fix the wrong; 1st comment: the phones are the same (wrong) 2nd: only the cameras are different “do you even use every feature” (assumptive about what features are most important to us) 3rd: we don’t have in stock and no one has that phone in stock (wrong, I found 7 stores on Verizon site that had them in stock) 4th: well we can order but we never know how long it might take could be longer than the 30 day return window (wrong, it came in a week). To end the discussion with Aubrey, she said that if stay same store they would waive the “mandatory” restock fee. This was the only part of the interaction where I felt like there was accountability for their aggressive sales tactic (don’t tell the customer we do not have what they want so they don’t leave). When my wife returns to the store after the Pro Max arrives, the new rep said that she had to pay a “transfer fee” of $40 because it’s like “an oil change - once it’s completed it only per device.” He said no way to waive it; my wife said she downloaded her data from iCloud last time from home and would do it again. He said can’t be done; After her third attempt to argue that the fee is not necessary, defeated, my wife just wanted to be done with this store so she agreed to pay it. After looking at the receipt, it turns out the fee is the “Set Up and Go Service” - basically this service is OPTIONAL and it is assessed when the rep handles the transfer of data from one device to the new one. We know how to transfer data from iCloud since we are very familiar with iPhone as we have have been iPhone users for years. Rep said no way to waive the fee and definitely did not say it was optional. This whole experience is proof the not only the reps but also by direction of the manager (who was at the very next table during the second trade-in process) their primary goal is internal sales and fees NOT customer experience or impact. My wife was wrongfully charged a total of $80 ($40 from the first wrong phone set up, and then another $40 for the corrected phone set up) for something she did not need at all and was never conveyed as an additional, OPTIONAL service. They will not refund. They do not care. They made their sale so get out of the way. Horrible service and complete lack of care and accountability. Beware going to this location - they prey on your trust that they are “the experts” and they are “here to help.”
