  Surprisingly we had a great experience and care! Dr. Neger and his assistant were amazing. The fact that they followed up with us days after to check on our cat condition is from a word of fantasies,- we humans don’t get such a treatment from our doctors with insurance plans. Overall, a great experience.

  So I brought my cat there because she is a senior cat and had been acting odd and the was having balance issues. After taking a look at her and taking her vitals etc Dr Mckenzie suggested doing blood work which at the basic level was still expensive. So I asked about the Care Club because I enrolled her once before and was able to get a full spectrum of blood work done ($500+), had continuous care, all her vaccinations, xrays and unlimited visits all for around $70/mo for 12 months. So I wanted to do that again but was steered clear of it by Dr McKenzie. He stated it was a wellness plan for animals that are well. So I paid over $300 for basic blood work and the visit. 2 days later he calls and says she is fine and now I can do the Care Club plan. I sat on this for a few days waiting for someone to call back and schedule a follow up and possibly enroll my cat in the plan but when they called I stated that I was annoyed because I was steered clear from what I wanted for my cat and paid more money than I should have because I was denied the Care Club plan. They offered a refund and said they would process it and call me the next day to help me enroll my cat in the plan. When they called me back, the girl told me that Dr. McKenzie said NO to the refund because he wants to do more tests via the Care Club plan. Seems like all that Dr. McKenzie "cared" about was getting the maximum amount of money out of me. He should have allowed me to enroll her in the plan and it would have given her access to 12 months of care and allowed me to save money in the short-term. I've been going here for years but I'll never go here again because of Dr. McKenzie and this experience. Like I am going to give you $70 a month after that BS. You just lost a customer and I'll take my money elsewhere. Nice hire. Do better VCA Simmons.

  **PET OWNERS BEWARE** Dr McKenzie is probably the worst vet I have ever been to - rude and greedy, trying to get me to spend money for unrelated tests not needed for my dog’s care. Thank god I got 2 other vet’s opinions before taking my dog here again. This place has gone DOWNHILL!! If you want to get ripped off, this is the place for you. This office is a revolving door of vets. PS: my dog is now healthier than ever. And no, I will not be “calling to discuss further” as if you give a crap. Pound sand.

  Excellent experience with Dr. Diaz. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and never rushed. Truly great care.

  Dr Fernandez was the best! I have been to many many places with my dog who has Addisons disease and was biting his paws raw. Dr was first to diagnose and treat properly. Kudos to Dr Fernandez, VCA is very lucky to have such a compassionate doctor. Thank you very much
