Needed help because my mac book was having trouble. Cameron was the best! He was very helpful and honest he was able to reboot my computer and get it working well again and hopefully that fixed the problem but he did talk about all the possible problems if that doesn’t permanently fix it and options that fit my budget if my computer was not worth fixing.

Went in 11/6/25 without an appointment and Staff member Erica was very quick and attentive to my very pressing issue! She took both my husband and I, even though we did end up going to another store to finish the repair swap. We GREATLY appreciate Erica and all she did yesterday to help us get the services we needed. Highly recommend the store and Erica for all your needs. 5 stars ⭐️

My experience was with the Apple store at Coconut Point (Estero, FL). I required Apple Genius Bar support because my MacBook Air M3 (2024) was powering off with no response. My initial greeting & interactions at the store were great. I worked with David, who clearly explained that my "pristine condition laptop" had an unknown suspected software issue and would need about an hour or so to be diagnosed. 4.5 hours later, David explained that it was likely a software AND a hardware issue, all covered under my Apple Care+. He explained that, due to my computer being used for both personal and business purposes, David quoted a maximum of 5 days, but emphasized that it would likely be 1-2 days, even with potential parts needing to be ordered. He also stated that at each step of the repair and diagnosis process, I would be contacted for updates. Fast forward 5 days later, I received zero communication and was unable to get in touch with the store. (I live about 1.5 hours away from the store, so going in person to receive an update was not a light task.) I called the store's number and was connected to Apple support; this is where the extremely unhelpful and mismatched information began. The first 3 days of calling, I spoke to representatives who "could not get in contact with anyone in the store". One in particular disconnected the call 4 different times because they could not figure out how to transfer a call (this, to me, is extremely unprofessional and speaks to the lack of job-specific competency). Representatives provided conflicting statements, ranging from being unable to patch me through to the store to actually patching me through with no delay/further questions. Once I was finally able to speak to a Genius Bar representative at the store, I spoke to Mike. Off the bat, Mike was the most unprofessional, condescending, and downright rude customer service representative I have ever encountered. I was unable to finish any of my sentences, unable to ask questions without him rudely repeating the same copy-and-paste lines, and unable to receive accurate information from him. 3 more days passed, and I reached out again (due to no communication). I was finally able to speak with a repair representative, who filled me in and contradicted everything Mike had told me. I do have a working computer back in my possession, but I will never use this store again and am wary of purchasing Apple products again, fearing that this type of repair/ customer service debacle will repeat. I have been an Apple user for 17 years; I have never been more disappointed and more frustrated. This has a severe impact on my future with Apple.

I changed my earlier review from one star to four stars. Everything that I said in my initial review below happened, and is still true. However our feelings were changed when we made a follow up visit to the same location a few days later. During our ensuing visit the staff could not have been any more attentive or helpful. The issues remaining were handled quickly and easily, and all of our interactions were pleasurable. In fact, the very same salesperson who my wife and I found to be rude on our first visit, was there and cheerfully helped in the solution process. This was to us a complete turn-around to our earlier experience. As an possible explanation, but not an excuse, our first visit was late on a very busy Sunday, and our second visit a much quieter weekday. I'm thinking the staff was frazzled by the time we got there late on that Sunday. Based on all of my dealings with Apple, over many many years, my conclusion is that the first visit was an aberration of sorts, and the second visit more of the norm. Old review below: My wife and I are long time Apple users. We have have had Apple phones, iPads, laptops, and watches for many, many years. That said, we have been to a lot of Apple stores over this time with mostly favorable experiences. In the past we have always gotten proper attention and help from the Apples staff at whatever store we were at. Not yesterday, however. We bought a new Apple watch for my wife from a salesperson named Anthony, and he was very helpful in guiding us to the right product. After the purchase he sat us down at one of the available tables to first download the latest Apple software, and said he would be back to help us sync the new watch with my wife's iPhone. He informed us that he would check back periodically to see how the download was going. Well, that didn't happen. Not only did he never check back with us, we came to find out he went home for the day while we were at the table waiting for the software to download. Apparently he just forgot about us entirely! During this time we were having trouble with the new software in that it was taking an inordinate amount of time to download. When I then asked a nearby sales associate if he could help he was rather curt and obnoxious while telling us that he was a salesperson and not a tech person and that we would have to make an appointment with the Genius bar if we wanted tech help. I do understand policies and procedures in business. That said, what was irritating is that he didn't bother to apologize for our rep leaving, and he didn't offer any help of any kind. My wife and I are not overly sensitive people, however we both found this person to be dismissive and rude. We ended up taking the watch home and syncing it ourselves, which was no big deal. What was a big deal was the non-caring, non-professional way that my wife and I were treated.
