  Wasted a 45 minute drive. Made an apple appointment and got told they overbooked and I would have to wait 1 hour just to be seen. Waste of my time and money. Thanks geek squad.

  I had an extremely frustrating experience with Geek Squad in Destin FL. I arrived for my scheduled appointment and waited over 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. I sat there the entire time; my laptop was never left unattended or dropped off. I originally came in for a simple battery replacement that was supposed to be sent out to an Apple-certified repair facility. My laptop was functioning (albeit only while plugged in) when I arrived. After they ran their “diagnostics,” it was returned to me in significantly worse condition. The screen no longer turns on at all, and it now makes a power-on sound every 15–20 seconds whether it’s open or closed. I was then quoted $450 for repair, despite an advertised price-match policy and an Apple estimate of $250 for the same service. While my laptop is technically considered “vintage” due to its age, that does not explain how it left Geek Squad in worse condition than when I walked in. Overall, I’m very disappointed. I trusted them with a working device and left with one that is now essentially unusable.

  As a Destin resident with too many computers in the house to count, I often rely on Min, Chase, and their Geek Squad team. They know their business, are exceptionally tech-savvy, and do their best to help the many clients who show up (many without appointments). I cannot begin to imagine how they remain so calm when faced with the demands of hurried people. I have no idea how much these guys get paid, but it's not nearly enough!!! I'M GRATEFUL TO HAVE THESE GUYS AVAILABLE TO MY FAMILY AND ME!!

  My appt was at 11:40, I didn't even talk to a tech until 12. Its $150 just to do a diagnostic!!? And it takes 3 DAYS! NO THANK YOU! There are so many other options for Computer support. Y'all... don't waste your time.
