I’ve never had such a frustrating experience at an Apple Store before. I went to the Apple store in Altamonte Springs after dropping my iPhone 16 Pro Max and damaging the back glass. In order for them to run diagnostics, I needed to reset my Apple ID password — which I hadn’t used in a long time.
Instead of offering any flexibility, I was told I had to wait in the store for an hour while the password reset processed. I simply don’t have that kind of time during a workday. What made this more frustrating is that there was no willingness to offer a reasonable alternative — such as allowing me to leave my phone there, go back to work, and confirm the new password over the phone once it reset. That would have been a simple, customer-focused solution.
This feels less like a single-store issue and more like an Apple process issue, but customer service still matters. On top of the inconvenience, the employees at this specific location were noticeably sarcastic when I asked if there was another way to handle the situation. That only added to the frustration.
I’ll continue to use Apple products because, in my opinion, they’re still better than the alternatives. But this was a major inconvenience and easily one of the worst in-store experiences I’ve had. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last time visiting this location.

I’ve been a loyal customer with apple for many years. I was informed by apple care that’s I could come into the store and have my phone replaced on the spot through apple care. I arrived on time but waiting over 25mins to be scene. The employee Jimmy long curly hair back leg tattoo was very rude. He cut me off didn’t listen to anything I had to say. Apple needs to do better with training there employee ‘s. Because at the rate there going they will loose a lot more consumers for there products.

Great staff, professional and friendly. Scheduled an appointment and had a tech assigned and working on my battery testing and replacement within 10 minutes of arrival. An hour later the work was complete and I was on my way. Great service and highly recommend this Apple Store.

Went into this store to trade my iPhone 14 for a 17 and have the payments placed onto my plan for AT&T First Net. I spoke with an employee, her name was either Pat or Pam (only know this through another employee mentioning her name as she did not introduce herself). I told her what phone I wanted and what I wanted to do.
She explained she was unable to put the payments on my phone plan due to it being First Net and not a normal AT&T account and I would need to call my phone service for them to create the eSIM to activate the phone. During this process she had me call my phone service to confirm what she was saying, while doing so, she tends to another customer who knew no English, and had to get another employee to translate, then comes back to me while still helping the other customers. They make their purchase and leave.
The employee continues to say I’d have to pay in full, but advised my old phone would get me $210 credit back after I have the new phone activated. She sent me on my way without assisting me in transferring and activating my phone. I got my phone activated without needed to call my provider, though she said I would have to. I go back to the store, and go back to Ms. Pat or Pam (whatever the other employee advise her name was) and tell her I am back.
She then does the “assessment” of the old phone and then with a sarcastic laugh says “Sir, you can’t get anything for this phone”, due to the glass on the back of the phone being cracked. I told her how she explained how she stated I would get the money back, and she now proceeds to tell me that it would happen after an assessment. I advise she never explained that. I’m upset arguing with what she said and a manger comes over. I explained to the manager what I was promised, which she stated she was wrong in saying what she said IN FRONT OF THE MANAGER!! The manager had no solution or willingness to help me but sided with the employee.
I then slid the phone on the table towards their direction not coming anywhere to hitting anyone while saying “Take the phone then” and the manager says “Sir, I’m requesting you to leave as you don’t need to throw anything here.” He said this while motioning to have security start walking closer to me.
I did not throw anything nor put anyone in harms way. The employee was rude and condescending. The manager did not do anything to assist the customer or fix the issue. I ADVISE ANYONE TO AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!
