  I brought my cat kitty here last week for her third eyelid showing. I explained she had no sneezing, coughing, or unusual behavior. They gave me eyedrops and sent me home to administer 2x a day. Did not get better. Went to another vet for them to tell me she has Haws Syndrome and gave me medication to help, her third eyelid went away in 2 days, other vet clinic told me the eyedrops given by VCA weren’t doing anything for her and to throw them away. Very upset this happened. Waste of $200 visit

  My son has been going here since his pupper days. Today's visit was the most pleasant he's had. It's all thanks to Dr. Jillian Oberosler! He's never taken treats and ate them before her. He even showed off his skills at being a true gentleman. Thank you Dr. Oberosler and vet tech! You guys rock.. truly happy and grateful for you guys. 😊

  Never in my 7+ years of being a loyal customer have I been this disappointed to the point where I’m looking into new vets. Let’s back up, I moved here in February from Fl and was so happy that VCA was also in DE, I booked my first physical exam and wellness check for my pet back in June here in Dover. I made sure all my records switched over and updated them with her current heart and flee meds as well as the information of her allergy shot. My pet was having her yearly allergy reaction so I booked an appointment online, however I couldn’t remember what it was called so I booked for itchy red spots. As soon as the technician came in I let her know this is just for her allergy shot everything else has been great. The technician proceeded to have the doctor come in, which I didn’t know I needed, since I just had her exam less than 6 months ago ( it is valid for 6 months). The doctor came in I told her exactly what I was in for and was slightly confused as to why she even came in, and repeated to me “we’ll just do the shot for today”, yes that is the reason I’m here requesting this visit?! The doctor left and I asked the technician why I had to see the doctor again since I was just here for an exam less than 6 months ago and the technician told me “because I haven’t seen a doctor pertaining to this issue at this specific location” I thought that’s why I was still using the same company???? I was even more confused when I proceeded to the front desk and asked them again why I had to see a doctor again if her exam was still current and they told me a completely different answer, “because I couldn’t book an online exam with a technician, they only offer appointments with doctors online”. After we spoke for a few minutes, I asked “so because I booked it wrong, there’s nothing you can do for me?” And they said no, charged me $240+ dollars for a visit that should only have been just over $100. What customer service, I left the vet in tears and they didn’t care. I love VCA and truly could not believe this happened, I was a loyal and proud customer of VCA until this happened and now I’m searching for a new vet
