    Estoy. Muy. Decepcionada. De esta tienda como es posible que me venden un reloj apple watch. Desde. Diciembre 23. Hatas el.dia de hoy enero 7 Y no lo tienen en ninguna tienda me hacen perder el tiempo. Las ganas de volver por eso sus tiendas. Estan cerrado pago un producto cash para que nunca me lo entreguen hasta el punto que tube. Que cancelar son mas efectivos los de amazon ustedes. Best buy hacen un grandicimo mal trabajo. Me.     First of all, what is wrong with you people? I am beyond frustrated. Anthony, the salesperson, was actually very professional—which is the only reason I didn’t completely lose it in the store. So here I am instead. I went to the Best Buy in Columbia Heights to buy a TV. Anthony advised me perfectly, helped me choose the right TV, and everything was going smoothly—until we got to the logistics of actually purchasing, delivering, and mounting it. That’s where everything fell apart. There was zero flexibility when it came to scheduling the mounting. As if I can afford, in this economy, to take an entire day off just to be present for a mounting that is already outrageously expensive. So I decided to skip the mounting altogether and handle it myself. Then comes the only good thing in this entire transaction: the promised free delivery. Except—surprise—it suddenly wasn’t possible anymore. Why? Because “the software” wouldn’t let Anthony schedule it. That was the explanation. The solution? I should pay for an Uber XL… to transport a TV… from a store half a mile from my home. Let that sink in. Best Buy would not deliver a TV that I purchased, even though I live less than a mile away. After all of this, I had no choice but to cancel everything. To make matters worse, Anthony had even convinced me to open a Best Buy credit card. My mistake—clearly—since I’m never setting foot in that store again. Now I get to deal with calling Citi Bank to cancel it, and we all know that will be a slow, painful process. How is it possible that buying a TV at a place called Best Buy is this unnecessarily complicated and infuriating? Thanks for completely ruining my afternoon.

    Worst customer service here, staff don’t care. Told two different staff members that I wanted to buy a TV ($1000) they had on display and I was told they would get someone from sales. After 10 minutes of waiting around no one came to sell me the TV so I went to the cash registers and again told them I wanted to buy a TV. I even pointed to it so they would know which one. Again, im told they would get someone from sales. After another 10 minutes of waiting and being ignored I decided to leave. I then googled where else in DC I could buy the same TV and went there instead and bought it.

    SUMMARY: I have been using Best Buy for about two decades now and the quality of its service and products has ABSOLUTELY TANKED in the past two years. My most recent computer from Best Buy started crashing more and more often without explanation (they later told me it was because of hardware issues, but I replaced those and the issues would later continue). The price for getting individual services when Best Buy’s computers fail is ASTRONOMICALLY COSTLY, so you have no option but to sign up for an expensive membership, which you continue having to pay for even after they COMPLETELY FAIL to help with your computer, and in fact make it worse. BACKGROUND: I brought the computer into Geek Squad just after it (predictably?) broke down outside the warranty but before I’d even had it for 2 years. The Geek Squad staff were rude and did not know what they were doing. They held my computer for over a month and recommended I buy hundreds of dollars worth of replacement parts. They kept sending me messages saying the computer was ready for pickup when it was not, and I had to travel an hour into the city to find out the computer was NOT ACTUALLY READY. I even got messages saying that if I didn’t pick it up, THEY WERE GOING TO “RECYLE” IT, which based on my later conversation with them appears to mean SELL IT OFF FOR PARTS AND KEEP THE PROFITS, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I was absolutely stunned. I got the computer and it worked for a few weeks before the exact same problem came up. I took it into Geek Squad again and they kept my computer for another month, sent the same HARASSING and ERRONEOUS messages, and convinced me to buy hundreds of dollars in more hardware to fix the issue. After all that, the computer still didn’t work. I asked them to refund the money I had spent on the first round of hardware purchases and THEY REFUSED TO HELP ME WITH THE REFUND I WAS OWED. I showed up to get the computer and at first they told me that they had taken parts out and I could leave with those parts but would need to put them back in myself. Again, this was after receiving messages that my computer was ready and (in fact it was “functioning perfectly”) and threatening to scrap it without my permission. I waited for hours because there was no one there at the time that could put the parts back in (even though customer service I said I could show up any time to pick it up), until they finally said they were mistaken and those were not parts of my computer. I took it home and when I tried to plug it into the monitor, I realized a huge set of parts WERE MISSING and I had nowhere to plug in the HDMI, which was now gone. I bought a converter to plug it into a USB and when I went to turn it on it was impossible to log in. I asked them how I was supposed to log in after they had changed my password and I received NO RESPONSE. I’ve tried for another several weeks to work with them patiently to get my password and a refund on the parts they told me to buy 5 months ago when I first brought it in. They told me they would reach out and have not. They have gone totally radio silent and refuse to help. This has been a traumatic and costly experience and has taken up hours and hours of my time, all for nothing. They refuse to give me the refund I’m owed and have done nothing but made the problem worse. We deserve better than Best Buy.
