Brought a blue screen laptop to Waterford that I had bought from best buy. They wouldn't even look at it. First they told me I was better off just buying a new computer, then they said they would charge me $80 for a diagnostics plus $200 subscription fee and that there would be no guarantee they would find/fix the problem. Brought it to Mr. Fix it in Groton, he had it back to me in 2 hours. What a joke. They didn't even look at it! It feels like they are scamming people into buying new computers or getting some bizarre subscription fee.

Abysmal service team. Told me a camera would take 2 weeks to be repaired, now going on 3.5 weeks, still “in repair.” Then when trying to communicate with the store, I keep getting directed to the Best Buy corporate line instead of the actual store. They tell me they will have the store call me, the store doesn’t call.

Made appointment a week out for iPhone 8 battery replacement. Appointment was made through Apple, so they knew exactly what device I was bringing in and why. After sitting there for 15 minutes while they ran diagnostics, they told me they didn’t have my battery in stock. If I wanted to order a battery, they would need to keep my phone at the store, and that it would take about a week. Obviously not an option. They told me my best bet was to go to an Apple store. Why bother existing if you can’t replace a battery in a phone? Why is the store even an option through the Apple app? I tried calling before hand too to ensure something like this wouldn’t happen. Can’t get through to store direct. Had to go through Best Buy’s nationwide answering service (number listed for geek squad same number as the best buy number). Was on hold for 20 minutes before being disconnected. It’s like going to a quick lube to get an oil change, but you have to leave your car there for a week so they can order oil. So anyways total waste of time and gas. Staff was courteous.
