I also bought Geek Squad protection and my experience has been awful. It's my most recent issue that's prompted me to warn others. The screen on my laptop broke and I took it in to get it fixed on 6/13/19. Two weeks later I pick it up and am told it's all better. When I take it home, the laptop does not turn on. I'm amazed that they didn't check themselves to see if it worked, but I guess that's too much to ask. I took it back and of course they had to ship it off again for repairs. It's now 7/10 and still no laptop, meaning it's been nearly a month now and my laptop has still not been fixed. In their defense, they've fixed some of my issues and the people behind the counter are usually very nice, but I've spent numerous hours of my life waiting on hold and in line to get stuff repaired and there has to be a better way. I'm going to cancel my Total Tech Support Membership and Protection Plans I bought, and buy laptops elsewhere in the future because I can't stand the frustration of working with them anymore.
