Very upset our dog of 16 yrs we had to put down last week who was everything to our family and I was told I would get her ink prints her urn with ashes and a clay paw print and a piece of her fur when I got home I noticed right away the clay print nor her fur was not there I called immediately and was put on hold over 10minutes for them to get back on the phone to tell me that it was misplaced and they don’t have it how heartbreaking it is to know they “misplaced “ something so dear to a family’s heart and was told I can call in morning to speak with supervisor to be compensated. I want my dogs print and fur I paid for and was promised this is absolutely unacceptable as far as the care i recieved that night I have to say they were very compassionate the day we had to put her down but now I am very upset how do I tell my kids who were waiting for their dogs print and fur that it was misplaced like if it was a piece of paper and I was told I was going to get that it was included in the 663.00 it cost

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Waited 3 hrs for the Dr to see me while my dog was in their care . Well I thought my dog was in there care . Dr comes out tells me everything I told them. Never did anything to my dog . Wanted me to go over there plan so they could start treatment. So my dog sat in a cage for 3 hrs and they did absolutely nothing. I never walked into a 24 hr vet hospital and experienced this . Paid them $200.00 for a exam they never even done . So save your money and take your pet to a real 24 hr hospital who's willing to take excellent care of your pet and let's you know what's going on from the time you step into the hospital till they take your pet in ... I will never allow family or friends to go here .

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I rushed my dog in because he couldn’t walk straight and was vomiting, and the staff left us sitting there for more than 20 minutes while they talked about pricing and discounts with someone who didn’t even bring a pet. Not one person checked on us or showed any concern. This place cares more about payment than the animals. Do yourself a favor and find a vet that actually prioritizes your pet’s. Zero urgency, zero compassion. They care more about money than animals. Go somewhere else

I don't want to assume the practitioner was negligent because it may be a directive that is being followed. However, we were neglected in a room for over an hour and only received attention after bringing it to the attention of the staff at the front desk. After explaining the history of our pet we were given a $2700 quote to "shotgun" diagnose our pet with unnecessary procedures. We pushed back to take a phased approach to eliminate what we felt was the issue. After performing an x-ray, we were only partially confirmed that OUR diagnosis was correct. At that time, we were told that the practice was not equipped to further help us. At no point was this made clear to us until after we were charged $1100 and lost 5 hours of critical time in treating a LIFE THREATING situation for our dog. The negligence in the care provided is despicable. We would've been perfectly content with an exam fee and a referral. This is either a business decision to increase revenue or inept practitioners. Disgraceful. The entire support staff was a pleasure to deal with however, the attending vet was abrasive and lacks the critical thinking needed in an emergency situation.

On Saturday February 7, I noticed Mancha was not breathing well and brought her to Shorline to be seen. The staff immediately brought her to the back to be taken care of. The doctor came out very quickly after to let us know Mancha was not doing well and gave us our options. Being as she was a 17 year old cat with other health conditions, I didn’t want to continue letting her suffer. That was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make because that girl was such a beautiful, loving soul. I always joked about her being the house nurse because she always knew when someone wasn’t feeling well physically or emotionally and would lay with you until you were feeling better. I can’t say enough about how caring and supportive the staff is. One of the women offered to sit with me because my husband was struggling with what we were about to do and stepped outside. The doctor was also very kind and empathetic, reassuring us when we doubted our decision to let Mancha rest. Today, I picked up her ashes and was so happy to see they went above and beyond, sending us ink prints of her paws and nose, a little baggie with her fur, and clay paw prints. One never wishes to be in the position to have to make such a difficult decision, but if I ever have to do it again, I will be going to Shorline. Thank you for everything; I’m forever grateful for your support.
