Someone referred me to this veterinary clinic, but I should have listened to my gut and taken heed from the very unhappy-looking staff photos on their website. My partner and I interacted with these 2 staff members and their inability to deliver basic customer service was shocking (not even a "hi, my name is.." for the first consult). The doctor didn't make eye contact when discussing my dog with me, which is often a red flag for dealing with any service provider. They never gave me or my partner any paperwork about the bloodwork or xrays that were performed, after I asked more than once for the paperwork. The only thing we received was an application for the VCA's care club payment plan. A sick family member is stressful enough without having to feel like you can't trust the care provider. Very very disappointed.

My pet passed away last week and I didn't know what to do so I called VCA Vet Referral & Emergency Center and they took it from there. Everyone was so kind. I had my dog cremated & the pet urn the ashes were put in is beautiful! Their price is reasonable, I'm so glad I found this place.

Very grateful for the amazing care that Dr. Wilcox and his team give to my dog. Eye issues are stressful and they are honest and reassuring. We are fortunate to have such amazing care for our dog.

Had been there 3x for 3 different issues over 2 years. All 3 times, the first recomendation I was strongly advised to take was surgeries that were well over $10k each time. One of the three visits, i was told my 2 year old dog needed double hip surgery. All times I passed for a second opinion and all times was told their recommendations were not necessary and driven by corporate profit greed.

I run three busy veterinary practices in New York City and have been in the field for over 10 years. After recently moving to Norwalk, I had an emergency with my senior dog and needed care immediately. From the front desk staff to the technicians to the veterinarians, every single person was compassionate, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. A special thank you to Dr. Lascala, who was not only deeply empathetic but also incredibly skilled. I highly recommend this practice.
