    Last night (1/7/26) my boyfriend and I had to go down there to hand in 2 devices for a trade in. I could tell within 15 seconds of being there that it was going to be a crappy experience. We sat down with an associate named Andrew and it didn’t take long for him to give us a terrible attitude, and to try to make us feel like we were dumb and didn’t know what we were doing. I’m no expert but why would someone who clearly doesn’t want to do what needs to be done to help his customers and who has an all around poor demeanor, choose a job that is mainly customer based? Wherever we asked him a question he made us feel like we were inconveniencing him, and to be honest he didn’t even know what he was doing! He told us he wasn’t able to fix one of our issues and we had to call customer service, so my boyfriend stepped outside and called a guy who works at the Verizon in Trumbull who we had dealt with before and who went above and beyond for us and he told us to just come down to the location he worked at and he would take care of us. When we got there he showed us that the issue that Andrew said he wasn’t able to help us with he actually could have taken care of. So basically he told us he couldn’t help and to call 611 even though he 100% could have helped. The entire experience at the Fairfield Verizon was terrible from the moment we walked in! I couldn’t even hear myself think because of how loud they had the music, the place reeked like someone just finished smoking a bunch of weed and hot boxed the place, the way we were treated was horrible and the level of help we got was that of someone who really didn’t know what they were doing and were too busy going out his way to make us feel like we bothering him because we needed help which if I’m not mistaken is the whole reason why stores like that exist! I will NEVER step foot in that place ever again! We have had Verizon for over 20 years and they make a ton of money off of us, you’d think the least they could do is his people who actually want to do their job!

    I love the company but this store has left me questioning the integrity of the store employees. I was wrongfully charged a phone set up fee by the salesman and I set up my own phone. I called Verizon, who confirmed the fee. I returned back to the same location to pick up a watch and inquired about that fee that they charged me. He said it was refunded, it was not. In short check your receipt when dealing with this store location.

    Useless, couldn't get any help from staff. It is impossible to return equipment from Fios internet, staff is not train to inform customer on returns, waste of time

    Every time I go to this Verizon I’m surprised that the employees can get even ruder than they already are. They’re usually too busy telling you why you’re wrong to even be helpful. The 1.5 review on Yelp is also too high of a score. Thank you for your “help” today, Alex.
