I like this store, however the Best Buy Brand in general does NOT offer any First Reaponder any discounts at all. The sales girl I had was very dry- not excited about my purchase. Found everything negative to say about my purchase. I bought 2 laptops- maybe that was all I could afford? She didn't bother asking me any open end questions regarding my purchase. I think Best Buy in general should offer additional discounts and discounts for first responders. It a way of giving back to the first responders in their neighborhood. I already knew what I wanted and what my budget was. I also believe there should be more training on customer service. I was in and out. The brand needs to reevaluate their prices along with helping consumers with additional benefits to choosing them.

Tyler with Geek Squad was super helpful. I was able to bring in my laptop without an appointment and he helped me figure it out within an hour.

You know what? The Danbury Best Buy is probably the best one around. I know they are not the big deal like they used to be, but I was still rather go and look through my stuff then ordering it on Amazon.

I bought an LG washer (WM6700HBA) and dryer (DLGX6701B) from Best Buy on Cyber Monday. I’m not even sure if these were actually on any real deal, but they still cost me **more than $2600**, which is absolutely unacceptable given what followed. I also paid **$200 extra** just for the dryer installation because it was gas. Initially, Best Buy was supposed to deliver and install the appliances on December 6th. They even called me three days before to confirm the appointment, and I confirmed it. **Then they simply never showed up.** No call. No message. No explanation. Nothing. The Best Buy app shows an ETA, but **do not believe it for a second**. It is completely wrong and utterly useless. After wasting my time, I had to reschedule the appointment for another week later. Again, they called me to confirm, and again I confirmed. This time, they actually showed up—but that’s where things got even worse. When the installer guys arrived, they looked like they were in a **huge rush** and tried to do everything as quickly as possible, to the point where it honestly felt like they were about to break something. During the dryer installation, **they caused a gas leak**, and very likely damaged the gas pipe. Now I may need to hire an inspector just to check whether the pipes are even safe anymore. This is completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. And now the worst part: after all of this stress, wasted time, and safety concerns, **the dryer does not even work**. It’s a faulty dryer. I waited for weeks, lost an **entire day** on the first appointment that never happened, and lost **half a day** on the second appointment, just to end up with a **defective appliance**. Now I have to make multiple calls to arrange the exchange process, and then I will likely have to deal with yet another appointment for the exchange and installation—assuming the exchange process even goes smoothly, which I highly doubt at this point. This is **hands down the worst service I have ever received from any company**, especially for a purchase of this size. I truly wish I had stayed away from Best Buy. I deeply regret my decision to purchase from them. I promise I will **never** buy from Best Buy again. **STAY AWAY if you can, especially for APPLIANCES.**

I bought an open-box Samsung S25 Ultra in "excellent" condition. This is supposed to mean that the Geek Squad gives it a full inspection. Within 3 weeks the phone stopped charging at all. When I went to a different Best Buy I was told they had the another open-box Ultra phone, exactly like the one that failed. They would not honor the price I paid in Danbury because it was a different color. They told me to call corporate BestBuy and they could probably help. I did, and they did not. What a huge run around. BestBuy in Danbury has a poor Geek Squad who sold a defective phone. Do not buy phones from there. Don't buy from Best Buy anywhere1
