When I call to make this appointment as a new patient they put in my phone number in the wrong. Causing me that they decide to cancel my appointment when I arrive today October 17 2025 because they didn't hear from me how is that my fault if they put the phone number in wrong to verify appointments. They say they use an email but you can't rely on emails because they can send it to the junk mail. So my appointment was canceled when I arrived No notification. Because it's their error of putting in my phone number wrong they will not take me for my two kittens that were sick. So how is it my fault because their faculty put in the phone number wrong that I don't get to have the kittens checked out. They were not willing to work with me to still see me specially because I have disabilities in very limited transportation. They offered me other days but I don't have the authorization to take it off because I took my time off of work for this. Now I miss work and I have no time. In the end kitten don't get care. Front office has no passion.

VCA has done nothing but make our dogs wait days for a appointment or go to the emergency vet. For a issue that would take 5 minutes to say, go to the emergency vet for care or thats a simple fix. They are literally double the price (now want us to pay the $$ and drive to west hartford - A VCA OWNED EMERGENCY VET) and will not accommodate your needs as a pet owner who has two infants. We will literally be going anywhere else since they give the feel of a 'box store' vet clinic that has no compassion or personal connection to the animals we love. If a vet can't stay or squeeze out 15 min for a family who cannot get to them without a great deal of work given our house just has water damage from a broken pipe and we are now in thomaston at a temporaryhome, two infants and two dogs with hectic jobs.

I was so happy with how helpful and kind everyone was here. I had sent over paperwork for my dog tiny to verify she’s non-aggressive, but when I called, I was told the vet who had seen her only works a couple times a month. I was upset at first, but the receptionist went out of her way to speak with another vet and asked her to help me.
They even offered a free visit to check temperament and fill out the paperwork. This was incredibly thoughtful, and it really made me feel cared for as a client. I left very happy knowing they were willing to help me out.
Even though I live in Granby, I’ll continue driving to Bristol because of how compassionate they are. Highly recommend!
Thank you for taking care of tiny 💕
