I went to this veterinary clinic expecting a professional and respectful interaction, but instead encountered immediate hostility from the front desk. From the moment I arrived, the tone was adversarial rather than welcoming, which raised concerns before any veterinary care even began. When I asked whether I would be seeing the veterinarian, the receptionist responded sharply that “the vet tech sees you first.” That information could have been communicated calmly and respectfully, but instead it was delivered with a harsh, dismissive tone that felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I then explained that I had recently left another veterinary clinic because the veterinarian there refused to take a peer-reviewed article I provided seriously. I made clear that evidence-based care matters deeply to me and that I expect medical professionals to be open to current research and willing to engage with it thoughtfully rather than dismissing it out of hand. Rather than acknowledging that concern or responding professionally, the receptionist became visibly irritated and abruptly repeated that the vet tech would be in soon. Her facial expression, posture, and tone conveyed anger and contempt rather than patience, competence, or care, which made the interaction feel hostile rather than clinical. Because of the dismissive and aggressive treatment, I chose to leave immediately rather than proceed with the appointment. I did not feel respected, heard, or confident that my concerns would be taken seriously if I continued the visit. When I later contacted the clinic manager to explain what had occurred, the response was equally troubling and disappointing. Instead of addressing the behavior or expressing concern about the interaction, the manager defended the receptionist outright and dismissed my complaint without any attempt to investigate or understand what had happened. Taken together, this experience reflects a serious lack of professionalism, basic courtesy, and respect for clients who value science-based veterinary care. For those reasons, I will not return to this clinic and cannot recommend it to others. Nobody deserves to be treated like this.

Yesterday we had to put our sweet Boo down they were able to see her on emergency right away. They treated both her and us with so much love and comfort. They gave us time to say goodbye and all the options for cremation.

Took our rescue dog in for a wellness exam with a free certificate from the shelter we adopted him from (up to a $250 value) which only covered certain conditions. We have had dogs for several decades and know a professional reasonable compassionate vet from a salesman. Walked out costing $100, they tried selling me on so many other services and examined him out of our sight. We will take him to our old vet in the future for a wellness exam that we can observe.
