    I came in with a complicated phone situation with two accounts that needed some IMEI swaps. Xaviyer was great with helping me get the situation solved and getting my phone activated. Josh, the manger was very rude to Xaviyer right in front of me when I first walked in. Xaviyer explained to me that he was new and was going to need some help from Josh to complete the tasks at hand. That’s no problem at all. Josh told him that he could do it and that he didn’t need help. He was short and condescending with his own employee. I was very uncomfortable with Josh’s behavior (and it seemed Xaviyer was too) from the beginning of our interaction. I pulled Josh to the side right before I left the establishment letting him know that the interaction was uncomfortable and that his employee truly did need more help. I used to work for Verizon, and I was helping Xaviyer more than his own boss was. That’s not fair to his employee at all. Josh immediately got defensive and talked back to me rather than seeing my side or taking accountability for his poor behavior. Typical bad boss behavior. I hope he can make corrections for the betterment of his team and his customers. I see other reviews regarding the same issues so I know this isn’t a one off situation.

    Be warned that this is NOT an actual Verizon store. They may look like one but they are just a retailer who is partnered with Verizon. They will charge you 59.99 Device Set Up Fee (Non-refundable) per phone and will do so without telling you they are doing so. I never saw my receipt until I got home as it was put in the bag. When I confronted the store, Austin told me it was a commission fee. Hmmm, one I did not know about and certainly did not approve of. I have been trying to reach Josh, manager, but he does not want to help it seems. I called the corporate office in Tennessee and they said that charge is at the discretion of the store and therefore it is what it is. Seems to be business model - pretend to be a Verizon store in appearance but then stack on some additional charges without your knowledge. So, unless you want to spend an additional 60 per phone (this is on top of the $40 Verizon will charge on your bill), I would find an actual Verizon store. Good luck!

    Emilio was the man! Outstanding service and saved us money with his knowledge of all the potential discounts. We left having new phones, with very little out of pocket and laughed a lot in the process. Thanks, Emilio, for the excellent experience.

He was very helpful and gave me lots of discounts. Helped us set up our phones and was super patient with all of our questions. Highly recommended!
