Made a reservation at 10:40 and wasn’t seen until 11:30. Not sure why they o love you! Have one person working the desk and no one to check if the next person in line has a reservation

I brought an almost ten year old MacBook in to see about a battery replacement. I made the appointment through Apple's website. When I arrived they were running behind a bit, but I didn't mind waiting. When I was eventually able to speak with the associate about the issue, I was immediately shut down about a repair and encouraged to just buy a new laptop. The associate kept cutting me off and speaking over me, insisting the laptop was 'obsolete' and a lost cause.
It was such an unpleasant interaction that I brought it into Apple the next day, needing to hear it from a second source. There I received a completely different response. The device is considered 'vintage' and they were able to take it in for the battery replacement (plus fix a couple of keys for me on the spot).
Ultimately if you're looking for an older Apple repair, I would just skip trying here and go to Apple. The only reason I am not leaving a lower review is all of the other Best Buy employees were very friendly and at the end of the day, I can't vouch for Geek Squad's actual repair service.

This store doesn't want to work. I went to the store at 11am to get my screen replaced and I was told can't do that today we have a 3 pm appointment I can schedule you for. So I set that up and return at 3 they said that is a hour job and why didn't I get it done at 11 I said the employee said they can't do it. At the 11am to schedule a appointment the next day so I did and go back to the appointment the next day and we can't do the repair we don't have a screen. If you plan on getting any service from best buy or geek squad I recommend you choose a different store!!!!
