    ⭐️ Very disappointing experience at the 1300 S. Townsend Verizon location We walked in and waited about 5 minutes before anyone even greeted us. When a gentleman finally came out from the back, instead of trying to help, he focused on everything he couldn’t do. He told us it would be a $40 charge just to transfer our service from one phone to another. We said we’d just take the phone home and do it ourselves since it’s an Apple device — but he then explained that the $40 wasn’t for the transfer itself, it was to go to the safe, grab the phone, ring it into the system, and actually have a conversation with us. We waited another 15 minutes while he said he needed to “unlock the safe,” only for him to come back and tell us they didn’t even have the phone we’d been waiting for. When we asked to speak with a manager, he told the manager we wanted to talk — but we were never acknowledged. We left and went to the 2675 S. Townsend Verizon (Russell Cellular) location, and the difference was night and day. Hope and Gabe were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond — no attitude, no extra fees, and outstanding service. If you want to be treated with respect and actually get help, skip 1300 S. Townsend and head straight to 2675 S. Townsend instead.

    Setting up accounts feels unnecessarily complex and confusing. I don’t feel like I have a better cheaper deal. I hope Verizon works out for me this time.

    As a Verizon customer I was offered a promotion and decided to move forward with it. The whole thing ended up dragging on for two weeks with me making multiple trips to the store and over 10 hours of my time waiting in the store for them to activate two new lines and two new phones on our account. After allll that time they said whoops we can’t offer that promotion after all! Beyond ridiculous and an incredible waste of time! I’ve been with Verizon for nearly 15 years and now I’m going to find a different carrier. Incompetent both in this store and whoever they were working with at a corporate level.

    Been a Verizon customer for more year then I can remember and have dealt with this store for years and had great service but today was a real disappointment, enough to make me consider a different service. If you go here I wish you the best.
