Coming in I knew zero about Apple products. I went in to buy my wife a phone and a watch for her birthday. From the greeter I was first directed to a phone salesperson and then given over to a watch person and then lastly to a person for accessories. All kind. All knowledgeable and my whole experience was flawless. Best retail experience in memory.

We were engaged in two transactions. The first transaction involved a lady assisting us immediately after we purchased our first phone, which was a full payment. She informed us that her break was starting, and we were surprised because we had explicitly mentioned to her at the beginning that we intended to complete two transactions. After a 10-minute wait, someone else helped us throughout the entire process.
I’m not sure what’s wrong with Apple customer service these days.

Apple sets the bar, this branch knocks it off.
When I schedule an appointment, I expect that the available time reflects when the business is available to see me. If it works for both parties, we meet at that time. Apparently, this location operates differently.
I was scheduled for 4:25pm - phone battery service. I arrived and checked in at 4:23PM using the barcode from my Apple Wallet.
The employee who checked me in directed me to “the long table”, where I waited with approximately eight other customers.
At around 4:32 PM, another employee approached me and asked whether I had been checked in. I explained my concern about the long wait time. She asked for my name and said she would check the status of my appointment. When she returned, she told me that I was next in line and that my issue would be addressed shortly. She also mentioned they would resolve my Apple TV issue, even though my reservation clearly stated battery service.
At 4:45 PM, she approached me again and pointed to an employee who was walking toward the area, saying this person was on the way to help me. That employee stopped to assist another customer instead. She asked: “Oh, your name is not ABC?”
At that point, considering this person was the 3rd person they accepted while I was there and since my appointment was already 20 minutes past the scheduled start time, I asked to cancel my appointment and left the store.
What I understand is that the battery service takes time. They probably would take my phone in and ask me to be back in a day or something like that.
What I don’t understand is why I can’t have their attention at the time we both found suitable and why it takes over 20 minutes of customer’s time to simply take a device in? Why it takes so long to check my phone in? At this rate they would take 40+ minutes to be through all the customers in the waiting zone.
The store had twice as many employees chilling as the customers were present. The only reason this is 2 stars is the employees diversity.
Forgetting my name in 10 seconds doesn’t offend me, but wasting my time with a SCHEDULED appointment is unacceptable.

I have used this store 5 times since September. I have always been treated with respect and in a professional manner. I exchanged AirPods, traded in an iPhone, an Apple Watch and attended 2 presentations about Apple products. I did pick-up a watch during the Black Friday sale (Saturday) which was chaotic and a little more time consuming, but that’s Black Friday everywhere. Bottom line, I drive several miles past the Park Meadows location because this store has always provided me with excellent customer service. I do try to avoid weekends. Highly recommend!

The employees at this store are so restricted on helping you, its as if Apple doesn't want to take care of customers, just protect apple. My rep was trying to balance helping me and 2 other customers at the same time! They TRIED but it just made things take longer. Meanwhile there were two managers walking around and chatting-one of them, a female, even walked past us twice never acknowledging us, but talked to the employee. I suggested to the person helping us to get a manager to help out; he whispered that they aren't allowed and whispered because they aren't even supposed acknowledge issues or explain, just make "canned" statements. Proof that Apple only cares about Apple, not customers or even employees. No wonder these people want to unionize.
