I visited the Littleton Best Buy store on Wadsworth hoping to get a CD with NetGear software. I was cleaning up unnecessary apps on my desktop, and I was no longer using my NetGear modem. Accidently uninstalled my wireless software. Of course, NetGear doesn't include CD's anymore. Scott went WAY above and beyond to download the software for me on a thumb drive. I'm up and running again. Thanks SO much Scott!!

Only posting 1 star because I unfortunately can't leave 0 stars. Talked to a staff member on the phone about my laptop that quite literally just needed some screws put back. I ONLY considered the geek squad because I got my laptop from best buy in the first place. The guy on the phone told me that it was something they would be able to handle, whether it be a simple fix they can do in store or something more complex they would have to ship out to have it fixed but it was something they would be able to do even after I told them I would try and stop by later that day.
I go in not even 20 minutes after the phone call and when I mentioned it all three staff members looked at me like I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. ESPECIALLY when I told them I had a laptop I WAS TOLD they could look at, at the very least. The staff member that talked to me was VERY demeaning and didn't even look at it beyond a glance telling me I'd need to replace the ENTIRE SCREEN for a HINGE and that they "didn't have the vocabulary to explain it to me" and "while I think it's just some simple screws it's more complex than that". Which if it was they didn't even try and offer the option to have it sent somewhere that COULD fix i like I was told on the phone. Instead I wasted 10 minutes of my time getting talked down to and I genuinely think they just didnt want to deal with me that day because they kept insisting on scheduling me on a different day when they "didn't have a skeleton crew." I get it. I work retail. I understand being understaffed. There's no shame saying, "I don't think anyone here can fix your issue today, we can try scheduling you on a day with someone who can or know more about what to do or I can recommend XYZ place." I genuinely don't know what more I should've expected from tech bros, especially as a woman walking into their field hoping for some help.

We went into Best Buy to get help with our car audio. We recently bought a new (used) vehicle and we couldn’t figure out how to get the “Car Play” to work or if it was possible without replacing the head unit (receiver). Dane looked at it and very quickly was able to help us determine that our unit was capable of using car play. However, it had to be through a wired USB connection and the USB to USB-C cable that we were using didn’t have the ability to do more than charge. So, for $10 we were able to purchase a 2 pack of cables that had this functionality and we got the car play to work immediately!
When we are ready to upgrade to a wireless 🛜 Car Play compatible receiver (head unit) we will absolutely be contacting this Best Buy for that upgrade to hopefully work with Dane again.
